Convenient location and great Ibis welcome!

Great ibis! Kind and very professional reception, clean and comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast spread. The car park is fenced at night and the area is entirely safe. Onsite Courtepaille was average, with a basic menu and some missing items - very busy! Hotel itself shares a parking area with a McDonalds and the ibis budget. Carrefour is a few blocks away and there’s a takeaway pizza place nearby. Otherwise you’ll need to take a (not so frequent) bus into Caen for food, unless you eat onsite. Ultimately, this was a perfect spot for our family and I’d return again, if in the area!

Hi guys This hotel was a surprise for us. It was warm, but the airco worked well. The airco was quiet. Bed was comfy Diner was good. Breakfast even better. recommendable. regards schliek

More than a budget hotel.

In case of late check-in (after midnight), the staff is quite helpless. If it weren't for the elder of our group, the check-in would have been delayed for a long time. There are no basic amenities in the bathroom. This is the first time I have come across such a strange layout. Boxing with breakfast (early check-out) is complete abuse: two croissants and that's it.

A typically average corporate hotel...but with excellent staff

The staff are the stars here. This hotel is similar to all others of this type. I generally dont like the corporate type of hotel but the staff here are friendly & helpful. The hotel is not great value, the rooms appear to be smaller than most but I enjoyed my stay here as the staff made me feel very welcome

Comfortable and convenient stop off

Good stopping off place if heading off into deepest Europe from Cherbourg- it is about 1 hour 20 mins from harbour with easy access to Autoroute towards Rennes or ring-road heading towards Rouen/Paris. Free parking. Reception was really welcoming- we had arrived at 8.45 and were asked whether or not we wanted something to eat- would have kept restaurant open if we had. Room clean and functional. Bathroom a bit like a bathroom on a ship. Bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate- liked the tarte au pomme however! Gluten-free bread available on request. Free parking. Definitely one of the better Ibis hotels we have stayed when travelling in France.
