Despite other reviews, I have to note that staff was helpful (even in English, as I don't speak French). The apartment was spacious and has everything you might need for a short stay. It's located across the train station, however for a newcomer it's not that easy to reach it, you need to walk at least 10 minutes (if you're lucky and don't take a wrong turn). The apartment seemed clean at first sight, however there was dust in many places and the air-condition had a cigarette odor. Cleanliness is not the hotel's strong suit, as they tell you than they only clean the room after a week's stay (if you manage to stay there that long), they give you clean towels at an extra cost and they expect you to take down the garbage yourself (!). Combine this with the area's (next to the train station) lack of cleanliness and you get the picture. The bed was terrible, I had asked for a double bed and they stuck two single beds together.....Pillows were too soft. Breakfast was mediocre, with very few and low quality choices, the breakfast room was too small. In conclusion, the price I paid was way too much for what it had to offer. Hopefully, I only had to stay there for one night.

You're lucky if you get to the hotel from the station and you haven't been robbed. The reception staff are the most unhelpful and rude I have ever seen in my long life as a traveler. Be prepared for surprises on your bill when you leave. Two 70 cm beds together make a very uncomfortable bed, but if you notice it, they don't care, it's your back so your problem. Much better options in Marseille.

Clean, great location but basic

Rooms are basic but clean, with all the needed facilities in the kitchen (except a corkscrew!!). Staff are pleasant and helpful. Wifi very intermittent and not always a strong connection. Location is great, right by train station with easy access for day trips and a 10-15 minute walk to the water.
No priority welcome, no facilities, no breakfast

The hotel is without service described on accor website. Rude staff and room without toilet paper. No possibilities to have a breakfast, children was very disappointed for this. COVID-19 is not explanation of this situation. Hotel is also poor ready for virus.

Terrible Value and Terrible Rooms

This hotel although situated next to the train station is very convenient however, the rooms are lackluster. Our room was very musky smelling and damp and the shower was broken and did not work. We were moved to another room but the damp and musk remained. The rooms were very old and seemed extremely dated and in poor condition. They were not clean by any standard and were filthy everywhere we wiped with a lysol wipe. I would not recommend this hotel as the pictures are an absolute lie to the state the hotel's rooms are in. We were only booked to stay two nights but it was so bad we had to move out and pay a bit extra to stay at a much better airbnb nearby. Terrible value and terrible rooms. I will not be staying at this property ever again and I will think twice before booking with any Adagio property again after this experience. The only plus side which is why I am not giving this property a one star review are the staff. They were very friendly and tried to fix as many problems as possible but were unable to fix the problems we had with the 2 rooms we were moved between.
