The photos for this accommodation was quite deceiving. We expected a spacious studio apartment which would enable us to prepare light meals. We found the accommodation to be cramped. However, its location was a benefit as close to the centre.

Old and tired rooms with worn out fittings

Unlike the Aparthotels in Lyon and Bordeaux that I found to be super, this one is worn out and not a pleasant stay. The 2 person room we booked was cramped and bore no resemblance to the pictures in the advert/booking website. Upon complaining we were moved to a 4 person room on the 4th floor which was better and very quiet as few people were staying on that floor. One side of the hotel was covered in scaffolding for repainting so we had to keep our curtains shut as workmen were outside our window. On the plus side there is secure parking under the hotel for 11 Euros a night. It is in a quiet part of Rennes and 5 mins walk from the center.

Good value, accessible, centrally located accommodation with basic kitchen facilities. Was well cleaned throughout. Friendly, helpful staff bridged the gap between our poor French and making sense - without making us feel embarrassed. Great value breakfast!

We froze in the room, we needed to sleep with the jumper on. Heater in living room,not in the bedroom. Other than that, good location, clean room Food can be ordered . Vending machines at reception Parking available

We stayed at the Adagio on the 8 & 9th of April. We had booked with breakfast and reserved Parking. Checking was simple as I pre-checked in online before arrival. The parking is easy to find ,but you need to quickly go to Reception to get a temporary fob to open the gate, once parked you go back to Reception and they hand you your keys with a car park fob. Breakfast is continental, could do with more to choose from (hence 4 star) . Everything is clean and functional. The bedding is comfortable (I have Fibromyalgia).We did not cook but if you wanted, the basics are there. The staff is very pleasant, both at Reception and Breakfast. Bonus, if you need, they offer a Food order service of catering dishes you can pre-order before 12:00. City centre is all within walking distance and there are good bus services if needed. We certainly would use again.
