Friendly welcome. As we are Silver All Accor Members we received a complimentary upgrade to Room 423 which is a Privilege Room facing the river. Room was huge, quiet with a large comfy bed, coffee machine, bathrobes and slippers. Shower was good. Location perfect for bars/restaurants, shops etc and for Inverness Train Station, less than a 10 minute walk. Would stay again if in Inverness

Tired and worn out, in need of repairs and renovation

Really tired and “broken down” hotel. Very odd smell in the basement of the hotel as you enter from the car park that is also present in the reception. The reception area was also freezing and dimly lit, giving it a strange feel. The bathrooms off reception also did not work properly (unable to flush toilets). Our room had a very overwhelming smell of bleach, to the point it was stinging our eyes. The pool table and cues were damaged, requiring us to lift the table for it to work properly. Staff had no coins to offer guests to exchange to be able to to play. It felt at times there was no senior staff present and hotel was being managed by very junior staff. Overall it feels as though the hotel could do with some upgrading and care.

Dishonest, untrustworthy - Caveat Emptor

Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled due to the extreme weather. I contact Mecure as soon as I was aware and was told that I would receive a refund, which stopped me seeking alternative travel arrangements. As it transpires, this goes against the hotels terms and conditions, so despite being told twice not to worry and I could rebook in January - the hotel refuses to honour this and hides behind it terms. Forgetting that I may have still travelled by car had I been told honestly that a refund would not be possible. Feels like they knew that this would be the case and simply wanted to keep the funds without providing a service Caveat Emptor!!

Very basic hotel that needs a refurbishment.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. It clearly shows its age. The rooms are very basic. The bathroom was clean but old. The breakfast was the worst part. Poor quality products served on cold plates. The seating was in a very poor state. Scuffed leather seats. Sticky tables. The staff were friendly and it has a good location to the town and train station.

The hotel doesn't look at notes head offices send them, we booked for december in April, a disabled privilege room, what we got firstly was a non disabled privilege room, when we complained they put us in a disabled room, which wasn't a privilege room, and had a bath and only one hand rail for toilet. Having complained about the fact my partner couldn't get into a bath and we had paid for a privilege room, the manager gave us the difference between a standard and privilege room. The receptionist told us they don't look at notes from head office, well maybe they should start to, not good enough.
