I stayed at the Hotel last week, the first time that I had done so since COVID restrictions had come into force. I always choose this hotel in Manchester because of its excellent location and parking facilities. Great care had been taken to ensure that the hotel was totally compliant with COVID requirements and I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Obviously, the restaurant was not operational given the context but the breakfast bag delivered precisely at the time ordered was enjoyable and fairly substantial. The Hotel's reception staff were superb - Sam, Wes and Dan all went to great lengths in terms of customercare, printing out documents, giving advice on where to eat etc. And they made me feel welcome in a friendly but professional manner. My room was fantastic too so a very positive experience all round.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review its great to hear that the teams hard work with the COVID guidelines has been noticed as its one of our main priorities to ensure that our guests feel safe and secure during these times. The hotel advert picture from the outside looks really welcoming however there is a decline around the Piccadilly area where the hotel is located, too many people sleeping on the side walks the smell of wee drugs was noticeable and police needing to calm disturbances late into night, is not welcoming or good advertisement for a hotel chain like Mercure. Get the council to do something about it the company does pay business rates does it?

Location for Manchester centre was perfect. All staff were incredibly accommodating. Rooms were average but more than acceptable for a city centre location. Price was excellent with an accor members deal.

Our room was not ready had to wait for 1hr 20 mins after check in, but it was worth the wait. It was clean and spacious, my only complaint was it was to hot, breakfast was delivered in a bag to the room

Restaurant, particularly the service, has vastly improved over the past year. A new person in charge of the restaurant has really turnbed things around. As for the rest - and I mention this because it's not the first time - I was assured onb check out my bill would be sent by e-mail, and five days later I'm still chasing them for my invoice! Hence my "mediocre" note for service.

Really easy to get to the hotel from Manchester Piccadilly and it's right near the main shopping area, restaurants, bars etc. Great location. But the room was excellent value, comfortable (especially the bed) and the staff surprisingly friendly and helpful. Really great service especially in the restaurant. Thank you!

rooms start to be little old, otherwise great location and good service. Service was generally very good, but 3stars as restaurant waitress flop really good... she just had 10min conversation with friends in the table meanwhilie we wait "I come back shortly" Reception staff was 5start and bar too.

I have stayed atthis hotel for the past few Christmasas, not my favorite time of year, but staying at the Mecure Hotel Manchester Picadilly has always been a good experience and this last Christmas was no exception, outstanding front of house staff, so very helpful as was Alex the barman , The breakfasts were the best meals served,and thank goodness no christmas traditional meals!Thank you to Thomas West level 3 manager whose attention to detail and service given was excellent. Thank you so much for a very comfortable stay, I will not be staying at any other Manchester Hotel when I next visit.

Booked overnight stay as a treat for my other half. Hotel clean, staff polite and friendly. Breakfast fantastic. Loved late checkout too. Very handy location. We saw a show at Palace theatre so only mins away

Location is fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel was busy but they were still able to check me in early. The hotel seems a little tired and old but certainly adequate for a night in the center of town

The staff on reception are perfect. Great hotel once you get used to the lifts, only the entrance is at ground level, reception, bars and restaurant are on different floors. Bar staff were unorganized night we stayed but eventually got served. Breakfast is good, great ingredients hot and cold. Will definitely return

As per usual the Mercure Piccadilly hotel staff both front of house and those behind were absolutely fantastic. The staff on Level 3 were also as usual brilliant. The only small fly in the ointment is the television channel set up. It is part cable and part aerial and doesn't use Freeview channel settings which can be confusing when wanting a particular channel. Also the use of Welsh channels foe channel 4 and BBC isn't helpful. Hopefully this can be easily resolved.

Gdy przyjechałem w pokoju było bardzo zimno, gdy to zgłosiłem przez ponad 30 min nikt nie zareagował, po ok godzinie dostałem dodatkowe pościele. moj sen się opóźnił o 1 h, spałem w czapce, bo było tak zimno.

My second visit this year to Mercure Piccadilly. You really cannot get a better price for a clean, comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Value for money breakfast that tastes great. Tried the car parking this time too and that was super convenient.

The hotel is located at the heart of the city of Manchester. The staff were very welcoming to myself and members of my party. The accomadation was very good and the breakfast was very varied with lots of choice.

This was my longest continuous stay yet at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly, and was much as expected. A plus was the unexpected upgrade to Premium room at no extra cost. Food, breakfast sand dinner were to the expected standard. The only real problem was the WiFi which was so very slow that it was unusable for looking at a long string of e-mails.

I liked the situation of the hotel and found the staff very helpful. However I was very disappointed in the state of the bath. It was old and worn out and very off-putting to have a shower or a bath. I was surprised that a hotel chain of your quality still had such worn out installations.
