We stayed 7 nights at the Novotel, the staff provided excellent service especially in the executive lounge. Team member Luong was fantastic at breakfast each morning. On the first day we asked for bananas and every day after that Luong brought a plate of bananas to our table along with cold hand towels. We had a great corner suite room overlooking the river with a nightly turn down service. We highly recommend this hotel.

Average Stay, but Questionable Integrity regarding Guest Feedback (Cherry Picking?)

I stayed at Novotel Danang Premier Han River on December 21, 2025 (Room No. 2811). To be fair, my one-night stay was decent. It was not a disaster like my experience at Grand Mercure Danang, nor was it exceptionally memorable. It was just a standard stay. ​However, I am writing this review to point out the management's dishonesty regarding the Accor Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS). ​1. Selective Survey Distribution As a Platinum Member, I always receive a GSS email after checkout. However, I did not receive one from this hotel, while I received them immediately from other Accor hotels (e.g., Novotel Hong Kong Citygate) during the same trip. ​2. Illogical Excuses When I asked the Duty Manager (Mr. Tino) why I didn't receive the survey, he claimed the system sent it to a "secondary WeChat email" in my profile. This explanation makes no sense. ​The hotel successfully sent the Booking Confirmation and Welcome Email to my Primary Email (Naver) before my arrival. ​The system clearly knows my primary contact. ​It is highly suspicious that the "system error" happened ONLY for the feedback survey. ​3. Conclusion It seems this hotel tries to filter out guests (Cherry Picking) to avoid potential neutral or negative feedback. The hardware is fine, but the software (Management Integrity) is disappointing

We are pleased to know that your overall stay was decent, but we are truly concerned about your comments regarding the Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS). Please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration and disappointment this caused. After carefully reviewing your case, we have verified that the TARS system of Accor automatically changed the email address in your ACDC guest profile from your Naver account to your WeChat account and set the WeChat address as the primary contact. This system changes unfortunately resulted in the survey being sent to the incorrect email. We fully understand how this appeared inconsistent, especially since your booking confirmation and welcome email were successfully delivered to your Naver account. We want to assure you that this was not an intentional action by our hotel team. We are already sending an alert to Accor ACDC to investigate the reason for this change and to implement a fix so that similar issues do not occur in the future. Transparency and integrity in guest feedback are of utmost importance to us, and we regret that this technical error gave the impression of selective survey distribution. Your loyalty as a Platinum Member is highly valued, and your feedback helps us improve both our service and our systems. We sincerely hope you will allow us another opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with the seamless and trustworthy experience you deserve.
