Hotel Novotel Basel City 4 estrelas

In this hotel you always feel welcome and privileged. The rooms are spacious and invitingly furnished. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the bar also offers a large selection of different drinks.

Very pleasant room and totally quiet ... always again. I enjoyed the stay and the stuff ist very helfful. the included breakfast is rich and very tasty. The location is not in the center of Basel, but the included ticket for two days for the public transport is a great plus.

Very good hotel close to the city centers. Good breakfast and good food in the restaurant. We were on an opera tour in Italy and Switzerland and Novotel Basel was a good choise to stay in the Switzerland part of our tour.

Our stay was very pleasant in our executive rooms with all the amenities: bathrobe and slippers, Nespresso machine, lovely bathroom amenities, a shower and a bathtub and a very good breakfast buffet. The only drawback was the fact that the safe was not operational and despite asking twice to have it looked at, it did not happen.

A wonderful City, old and new. Excellent transport system, clean, efficient, and many trams available. Friendly people. Definately recommend a one hour tour on an old fashion Tram. Lasts one hour and guide was very informative.

From the moment we arrived we were treated to the best service of any of the many many hotels we have stayed in around the world. From the chilled citrus infused iced water in the foyer to the friendly staff at the front counter and in the bar and restaurant their attention was second to none. The only thing we would like to see changed is the dreaded paper cups in the rooms to drink hot tea and coffee from and the lack of normal black tea available. As we drink 2-4 cups a day they were insufficient and unsafe to use without doubling them up to hold hot drinks. Then we had to wash them out for the next drink. Just one cost cutting measure too far for us but overall the room was great and the bed very comfortable.

This is the 3th year that we spent some days in Basel in September. Always we fill good in this hotel: all went well. I want to thank people at receprion for the courtesy and availability. Surely we will be back next year Thanks again Amilcare and Claudia

This was our second visit to this hotel. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely shower. The generous breakfast was very nice. The booking included a ticket for the tram to visit the city (tram stop just in front of the hotel). Friendly staff.

Pros: Location - really close to multiple tram stops, you can reach the city center just in few minutes. Rooms - spacious and really clean. My advise: if possible take a room with an outside view. I was living on the 5th floor and had a really nice view. Breakfast - standard breakfast buffet which is alright for a 4* hotel. Cons: Food in the restaurant downstairs was quite poor, go out and enjoy food somewhere else in Basel.

We were staying in Novotel Basel for only one night. The room was nice with a good view and its located near the tram station. The reception was very kind. And the breakfast buffet was outstanding, many choices, various kind of meal. One of the best breakfast we had at accor hotels!

this hotel is clean, good service, good quality and affordable price. For family children (<16 years old) get breakfast for free. hotel location is a bit outside of downtown center but very convenient with tram.

Localização boa. Quarto segue padrão novotel mas deixa a desejar no tamanho e conforto da cama, além do atendimento não ser tão cordial.

Desde o check in e durante as 4 noites tudo correu sem problemas. O quarto era espaçoso e acolhedor. A atenção para com as crianças foi uma mais valia.
