Reception at the Mercure was efficient if a little over gushy. A look around the reception told me not to expect too much. The twin room was on the ground floor. It was compact and showed no signs of being redecorated in living memory. There was some form of mural on the wall behind the bedheads. No sign of decoration anywhere else. No USB charging points. Not even a box of tissues. The shower had a control between hand held or rain head, but it was difficult to switch between them due to the age of the plumbing. It was a walk-in shower which was good, but the floor was slippery when wet, which was not good for older clients. The washbasin was actually in the bedroom which was not ideal. Breakfast was had at the ground floor café. It was adequate, but less than memorable. An omelette station made omelettes that weren't needed. They went into a chafing dish but emerged cold and rubbery. Juices varied a little each day. Fresh fruits changed little. Noteworthy was the honeydew melon which to my mind was way under ripe, cutting like an apple and with no discernible flavour. Hot dishes changed daily with the only memorable dish being tempeh cooked in garlic, chilli and ketchup manis. Room service was good but inconsistent as to time if day. The hotel was clean, although signs of mould in bathroom and toilet which seems common to even high class hotels in Asia. There is definitely room for a full refurbishment. However, given the price point it was ok. I do expect a better standard from a Mercure hotel.

What can I say....the first few days ok then it all went down hill Large families arrived from australia with  literally a foot ball team of kids australia  wolves 2024 they were coaching and there families all took over the ADULT pool area clearly states on website for adults only one of main reasons we booked  ...they were jumping into the pool off the only 2 day beds so no one else could use them kids in the adult jacuzzi all the time ,when says no diving not a very deep pool there was a kids pool that none of them used. The manager whilst friendly enough didn't resolve any issue at all simply stating that "the coach says they need 2 hours a day excerice" I'm sorry but that's not my problem you should not advertise an adults only pool an then let it be filled with kids  it totally beats the point and it ruined our holiday massively felt like outcasts. I'm sure the manager will write a nice response to this But it's too little too late. Its spoiled, our holiday massively.There's no reason why they should have been in the pool at all. There were no staff  monitoring  any of this an there's no reason to believe they wpuld stop any other children from going in the pool you will not be able to relax in your hotel at all total waste of holiday The The pool itself is in need of a massive overhaul, and needs emptying and relaying. Many, many tiles were missing steps going into the pool are rough as you go in and some of those are also missing loose to the point where my girlfriend and slipped. All the decking around the pool is loose and moves when you walk on it one guy was too heavy and as he stepped on the deck it flicked up at his heel. Rooms cleaned to bare minimum ants in room on the table surfaces and on the brewing appliances, under bed never cleaned accidently dropped a glass it smashed they came to clean up under the bed was filthy .   Came to do the room we left towels on floor for them to change and they folded the exact same towels back up and put back on the bed ( same stains in same place on towels). Children running around the hotel at all hours of the night knocking on our door and other doors then running off Noisy not making sure people are quiet at night  no respect,  There was no one whatsoever monitoring the holes at night no respect Noise going on all hours of the night, no effort was made to stop people being so noisy The cheapest It may sound on the internet. It's not worth it, it's not relaxing a  holiday. You will not enjoy yourself It can not be guaranteed that there will not be an influx of children everywhere around the whole hotel I don't hate children i have my own . I'm not an horrible i have my own son, but when you pay for a relaxing holiday with an adult only pool, that's what you want. It's a shame because the stuff themselves are really nice and really polite people and  are helpful as is the manager.

Hotel need lots of repair and renovation for a 4 stars hotel.

The room not to clean. Rubbish bin was dirty. The balcony door in the room was hard to open because the wood already rotten. Also the shower head really need a new one. Since the water leaked from the handle and the water sprayed everywhere. Breakfast menu not much to choose from and very average taste. There is only one for the Shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach And when the shuttle bus is full we need to wait another 20min. Really disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

Come for my friend wedding and surprisingly had a good hotel. Near to the venue. Had a good stay. Good breakfast. Clean room and friendly team member welcoming us and helpful. Had a big pool and gym. They rent the e bike for sightseeing around Nusa Dua area.

Worth the money. A mini resort like facility with a well managed pool and service.

A nice hotel with good service and required facilities. Had taken the deluxe room and it was a pool facing one. Hotel serves excellent pizza and other food by poolside in a relaxing atmosphere. There are many small shops outside hotel in case one wants to do local shopping. Taxis are available and can be booked via hotel or separately. Hourly shuttle to beach was provided during our stay or you can rent an electric or manual bike to roam around. Overall it was a pleasant stay for the amount paid.
