Not a pleasant experience

I didn’t have a pleasant experience in this hotel. First of all, my check in was a very stressful experience. As an Accor member, I have booked my room on the Accor website, upon arrival for check in, the male receptionist is cold and aggressive, which shocked me as I have only experienced exceptional service in all the Sofitels and Novotels back home. After arrived at my room, I found out all the furniture was old and the soundproof system was poor, I could hear the noise from the next door, I had no idea how many people were in that room, but the noise I could hear showed it was a group. My room’s ‘view’ is also ‘great’! Because I only can see tubes and bins outside. Worst Accor hotel I have ever lived in. Not recommend it to anyone.

Faulty passenger lift and hotel email not working

Every good except the faulty passenger lift. The door is not opening properly. This is shocking as we at level 36 of hotel. Before arrival sent few emails. But all rejected. Hotel management need to check their email address or make sure it is live.

Warmth despite the Bebinca typhoon

I was in the hotel during the Bebinca typhoon period. The hotel staff was helpful and flexible. With the help of Annie Qian, I managed to secure the room and was also greeted with a warm and sweet smile during the mid autumn festival. despite they did not prepare any welcome note and welcome amenities, she was sweet enough to present me with a box of mooncake! It made my days and will be definitely be back so that I could witness the improvements with Annie’s influence to other staffs!

This high-rise hotel is situated close to the metro station. Lifts are efficient. Employees are friendly. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is bountiful, delicious and fresh. The ambience is serene.

Poor facilities- air conditioning

I am staying at the hotel, and today is the 2nd night. I ‘ve just made a request at the reception to check whether my air conditioning is working or not coz it keeps at 25 degree Celsius no matter what temperature I switched to. It is terrible hot at the room and the staff only brings me the electric fan! So is the air conditioning not working properly? They said no, but then why it cannot lower down the temperature? Then, the staff said there’s energy controls in the city! Excuse me? What? There ‘a no such thing at all! I am disappointed on the staff ‘s way to solve a problem. I suggested to change room if it cannot be solved but no one responded. I turned out staying at the same room. And the funniest thing is the staff said the temperature of the city will drop tomorrow! And suggested us to open the windows! If this can solve the issue, why should an air conditioner exist?
