Receptionist mentioned hotel is non-smoking hotel, maybe we are unlucky and got a level which people keep smoking at the corridor and causes the whole level is smoky and smoking smell. The person throw the butt on the rubbish bin with smoke. Feedback to hotel reception, not action taken. Hotel staff also need improve on english language. Room still ok if you book under Superior Room. But for the location and price there's is still other choice of hotel with same grade near by and maybe more reasonable. Hotel maybe need to add in at least 1 or 2 more washer and dryer for the convenient and not causing jam of washing instead only 1 and only. Requested something for anniversary celebrations, hotel also did not anything. Overall, disappointment for an international branding with the service and environment. There's others hotels same grade or better and location same

For reservations on the official website, you must arrive before 9:00 before check-in on the same day to reserve the room, otherwise you will cancel the reservation for me. The room is old and the hygiene is average. The window is open when you check in, no screen windows are installed, and there are mosquitoes in the room. There are only two bottles of mineral water in the whole room. The minibar is empty, and there is a worn-out plastic bottle opener in it. Without welcome fruits and drinks, the rights and interests of members are the same as virtual. There are no points for the cash consumption part after check-out. It is wrong to contact the front desk to make up for me manually. I have to go to the customer service to delete it again and get points. It is said that the geographical location is good, but in fact it is a 15-minute walk from the subway station.

Our experience with Novotel is generally positive. This Nanjing hotel is right at downtown with the city's prime shopping malls steps away. Room is neat and spacious with a city view. Housekeeping, however, needs improvement. Price is very competitive, though.

Not a pleasant experience

I didn’t have a pleasant experience in this hotel. First of all, my check in was a very stressful experience. As an Accor member, I have booked my room on the Accor website, upon arrival for check in, the male receptionist is cold and aggressive, which shocked me as I have only experienced exceptional service in all the Sofitels and Novotels back home. After arrived at my room, I found out all the furniture was old and the soundproof system was poor, I could hear the noise from the next door, I had no idea how many people were in that room, but the noise I could hear showed it was a group. My room’s ‘view’ is also ‘great’! Because I only can see tubes and bins outside. Worst Accor hotel I have ever lived in. Not recommend it to anyone.

Faulty passenger lift and hotel email not working

Every good except the faulty passenger lift. The door is not opening properly. This is shocking as we at level 36 of hotel. Before arrival sent few emails. But all rejected. Hotel management need to check their email address or make sure it is live.
