Location is good for a brief layover, good rooms, no frills, not a lot of room to move about. but has all you need for a layover, plenty of chain restaurants close by also a supermarket. Stayed at beginning of trip after 3 flights from UK and need a shower and bed before setting out on the NZ adventures

Good budget hotel and scored as such. Easy to find at airport parking very easy. Good value price for amenities. Great check, in room very clean but small, the bunk over the head of the double bed challenging to get up at night, but room enough for one night. Very quiet no noise from outside at all Shower good. Blinds excellent for blackout they ran in their own track no gaps . Plenty to do outside hotel be it activity food or shopping nice restaurant next door and plenty of fast food options pizza from restaurant next door

My wife and I arrive around 5:30pm. We walked to the hotel from the Auckland international terminal. Carrying a small backpack, and pulling a medium sized rolling carryon, it took us around 25 minutes. Easy for us. Since the weather was nice for the following morning, we walked the same route back to the terminal. But I did see a machine in the lobby area of the hotel to purchase a bus ticket on a bus that makes the rounds in that area, stopping at the airport too. Check in was easy. Our room was on the 6th floor, overlooking a nearby parking lot, and small mall area. There is something of a breakfast area, with coffee machines, adjacent to the front desk. Also a kids play area. There is no actual hot breakfast served, but I believe for a couple of hours in the morning you can get some dry cereal, and milk, to at least have a quick bite. Our room was indeed small. Probably one of the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in. And we have stayed in several of these types of hotels/rooms in Europe. Cozy, and you adjust. The air conditioning was a bit of work, but we managed to once again adjust. Otherwise the room was fine. It was clean, and it smelled good. The ladies working at the front desk were very nice. There is a restaurant at the front of the hotel, and there is perhaps 2 places at the back of the building to eat something. Not open when we walked around back. And there is a grocery store across the way, and a couple of fast food restaurants nearby. For breakfast we stopped at the nearby Hollywood bakery and got a couple of hot items, and some coffee. Yummy, and at a decent price. We did have a nice 1 night stay. If the price was right, I would consider staying there again.

A faultless overnight visit. This really was an excellent night stop. Everything from the room design to the sparkling cleanliness was first rate. Staff were helpful and friendly and the Uber was the same price as the shuttle the following morning back to the terminal. We will certainly be back.

Booked this for an early flight. The room was tiny but clean. The biggest problem was that the AC didn't work. Mahiba, at the front desk, was very nice -- she tried diligently to fix it, but it just wouldn't work. Pros: * Across the street from a grocery store. * There's a bar/restaurant right next door. * The bus to the airport is prompt and convenient * They have plates and a seating area if you want to eat downstairs * Convenience to airport * Actually had a view of the harbor Cons: * AC not working in our room * Size of room - must step over your bag to walk around (but for one night, is tolerable)
