I stayed at the Grand Mercure Da Nang and had a comfortable experience. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well located. The room was tidy, and the facilities were easy to use. During the night, Hoa, the Night Manager, helped me with a few questions about the hotel and the area. He was straightforward and efficient, which made the late check-in smooth. Overall, the hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for a calm place to stay in Da Nang, with helpful staff available even during the night.

A perfect hotel in a good location near Han river.Large and clean room with birthday set up,courteous staffs with excellent services ,Thanks Ms.Tanh and Ms.Nanh at the reception.Overall a memorable experience and I would consider coming here again during my next trip to Danang

I chose the hotel for the view of Tran Thi Ly Bridge. It’s beautifully lit in the evening and literally within walking distance. I was disappointed when the lounge and room windows were dirty. That said, special thanks for opening the room windows on my request. In some hotels, it’s impossible, but here they accommodated. Check-in was fast. Overall service during the stay was fine, and the hotel gave a small complimentary gesture, which was nice. But there was one unpleasant moment that slightly spoiled the mood. I spend a lot of time in hotels, seen it all. I consider that normal, you can’t anticipate everything, I usually handle issues on the spot and there’s always a solution. But this time I emailed the management - the first and only time I had to clarify something with an Accor hotel after check-out. My email didn’t contain demands, I provided photos of a possible cause to prevent it in the future. The reply was professional but formal, and then communication stopped. Honestly, I didn’t expect that. In the lounge there were small issues. I found a dirty cup among clean ones - maybe a guest put it there unknowingly, and when I told the staff, they fixed it quickly. Still, in a hotel of this level, the staff should notice and manage such things. Someone could have used it again. Also, some guests could use a reminder that the lounge is not their personal workspace. Noise during Cocktail time is fine, people are relaxed. But closer to closing, when there are 2-3 people in the lounge, and one walks around loudly on video calls - not great. Sometimes staff aren’t around, so you can’t intervene directly, had to address it myself. Bottom line: without the personal stuff, the hotel is solid. Rooms are cozy, views are beautiful, service is strong. The lounge is a great place to relax, but more attention to small details and organization would make it better. Breakfast is served in the lounge too. If you have access, you can sit quietly. Bread is excellent, soups tasty.
