I had a 2 night stay at this property. Apart from the property showing her age and the room being a little warm given that hotels in Shanghai practise no air conditioning during winter, this hotel has got a few gems. At breakfast, I asked for a barista coffee and a staff named Mia brewed me a perfect one without hesitation. Her readiness and attentiveness saved my day for someone who is totally new to a vibrant cosmopolitan Shanghai. Following that, Ms Apple Tao and Ms Gloria were two brilliant gems. I sincerely hope that the management would give them a credit to what they are doing. The staff are fabulous who could make up for some of the shortfalls for what the hotel is presenting. The afternoon tea selection at the lounge is considerably good as well as the evening cocktail spread. Room wise, I received a room that being a little smallish which has nothing to shout about for a Pullman. Last but not least, the hotel is right smack located near to the train station and Metro station.

Pullman Jingan is located next to an MRT and opposite the Shanghai Railway Station. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread was good. We enjoyed excellent service from front desk, Amy Jin who helped us by providing good information and also helped with our luggage upon checking out. Thank you.

Close proximity to the metro station within 5 mins walking distance. Hotel room is a bit small but well furnished and comfortable. Front desk staff Felicia was polite and pleasant during check in. Has an excellent equipped gym which is available 24 hours for hotel guests. Overall a very pleasant stay

Pullman Shanghai Jingan is strategically located because it is very close to MRT Station Shanghai Railway Station Red Line and very close to Nanjing Road with only one transit. Check-in was smooth, immediately given the key and asked for a deposit of 1000 rmb. The hotel has a rather dark nuance and is dominated by brown color. As Accor Plus Platinum members, we were given lounge access, late check-out at 2 pm and our room was upgraded to an executive room with a view of the main road. The room is also not too spacious and feels crowded with chairs and work desks, lounge chairs, mattresses, large TVs. King-sized bed with 4 pillows. It is a bit difficult to open 2 suitcases in the room. The floor is carpeted so it is comfortable. A plate of fruit and 2 bottles of Perrier sparkling water are provided. For mineral water, 2 bottles are provided and can be added for free (don't worry, in China the price of water is the same as in Indonesia, only 3 thousand - 4 thousand). Royal Tea Time brand tea with 4 types of tea and Douwe Egberts brand coffee. The bathroom is also rather narrow and long with a narrow shower area too. The closet is placed near the window with city view. Towels provided are 2 body towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face towels. Amenities use a dispenser model with the C.O. Bigelow Standard Pullman brand. The shower also has a rain shower. For facilities, they are in a separate building from the room so if you want to go to the facilities, you have to move to the elevator via the lobby first, there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, and spa. For swimming pools in China, you are required to wear a head covering. The Executive Lounge has afternoon tea and evening cocktails. For afternoon tea, there is a choice of canapé cakes, nuts, cookies, salad, fruit. For evening cocktails, there are fried rice, vegetables, pizza, onde-onde, beef muscles, fried pork, tripe, and eel. Other menus include salad, cold cuts, cheese. On the second day they even provided sauce dishes with crab meat (for the famous Shanghai crab noodles) The breakfast menu is considered very delicious for the Pullman class and has many variations. There are: 1. coffee, juice, salad, cheese, compote, cold cut, fruit, noodle station, dimsum, porridge 2. Vegetables, fried rice, cakue, kuotie, bread, eggs, oatmeal, tofu soup, potatoes 3. Cauliflower, tomato, baked bean, bacon, broccoli, sweet green bean, sauteed mushroom 4. Pork sausage, chicken sausage, waffle, pancake, bread butter pudding, various breads. 5. Egg tart, muffin, pastry, yogurt, cereal
