Possibly Australia's longest motel?

This is an older style motel. Clean, comfortable but a little worn in places (mainly the bathroom was in need of some attention). Friendly staff. Nice central location.

Light, bright room looked great on arrival. I was looking forward to my o/night stay, after staying in several other motels during a long road trip. First thing was a drink of water - the glasses were very sticky inside and the bottoms were covered with a sticky brown substance. Yak! The coffee cups were stained inside, and had been rinsed but not washed. Thought to myself, if the glasses and cups are like this, how clean is the rest of the room and bathroom? I felt uncomfortable for my stay.

The best restaurant food I have had in a very long time! The barramundi was literally melt in the mouth. Thank you chef 😍 very reasonably priced too. Accommodation also very comfy and staff really delightful. A very affordable and comfortable motel which I highly recommend. This was my second stay. Spoil yourself!

The two most crucial elements in motel stay were superb - soft beds and totally silent room. Breakfast was great (I mean, who can stuff up breakkie??), but restaurant for dinner was unimpressive. My wife is a chef and therefore pretty fussy, but I think I’d score my meal a 3. We’ll stay there again (including breakfast), but look for dinner elsewhere.

We stayed for one night here, arrived late in the evening past 10:00pm. Thankfully they have a 24 hour reception. Check-in was smooth, we got a late checkout at 11:00 am. As Platinum members, we got a nice gift or chocolates in the room (many thanks!), and the complementary drink vouchers. We also got the free breakfast, although the very friendly person at check-in had not added our room number to the 'allowed' list, and we had to show our card to the staff at breakfast time. Breakfast was the standard fare, and very average. The room was fine, although we did find the bed very soft, and not firm enough. Convenient car parking was just outside the room too. The only complaint was that the key card did not work when we went to the room, which resulted in a walk back to reception. And neither did it work after 10:00 am (which is the official check-out time); which resulted in more than one walk to reception to resolve. Why is it that when check-in staff provide a late checkout, they cannot configure the key card to the correct check-out time !! So frustrating.
