Our stay at Basildene Manor was nothing short of magical. This small boutique hotel is a true hidden gem and feels like a little piece of heaven. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The staff are exceptional, warm, genuinely friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond, offering insightful local recommendations and personalised service that you rarely find these days. The manor itself is stunning peaceful, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are perfect: spacious, comfortable, and filled with lovely details that make the stay feel special and personal. What really set this stay apart was the farewell. At the end of our visit, we were surprised with a goodbye gift. Such a thoughtful and touching gesture that we were genuinely emotional. It perfectly reflects the heart and care behind everything they do. A very special thanks to Ailsa, who made our stay extra special. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made a lasting impression. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before. We truly didn’t want to leave, and we cannot wait to return. Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms are immaculate, and the building and surrounding gardens are gorgeous. The staff were very helpful as well. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had!

We loved our stay at Basildene Manor! From the time we checked in, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to Margaret River and the lady on reception sat down with me after we had checked in and talked me through a map of Margaret River, recommending places to visit and restaurants to go for dinner. Our room in the main building was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast as well as the cake served for afternoon tea. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and you can’t help but relax! Would definitely recommend.
