We received a very friendly welcome from the young man on reception. He gave us all the salient information and handed us a map before even asking for one. A room was available to us already at 12 o’clock which we didn’t expect. The hotel is ideally placed if you’re travelling by train. You step out of the modern train station and it’s right there on a pleasant square. The building that the Ibis Budget is in is shared with an Ibis Styles hotel. Our room was large and clean, spartan but had everything you need for for an overnight stay including air conditioning. Although we faced the train station we couldn’t hear anything from outside. Breakfast was excellent! Breads, pastries, fresh fruit, real orange juice, homemade clafoutis, yoghurt. The breakfast room is shared with Ibis Styles. If you walk through the train station the other way you’re almost immediately in town and just a five minute walk from the ancient Roman amphitheatre. There’s a small supermarket just around the corner. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Nîmes.

Stayed here for two nights. Great location next to the bus and railway station and about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The room was basic but a decent size and was clean and comfortable. The staff that I met were friendly and helpful. I didn’t eat in the hotel but you could get breakfast if you wanted. Great value for money and I would stay here if ever in Nimes again.

Located behind the Train Station ( technically it faces it, but all the attractions of the city are on the other side of the elevated railway), I think it is convenient and the property is relatively modern and the hotel has adequate services, in line with what is to be expected from a budget chain hotel. Minimalist room and functioning washroom and WC, which is separate. Aircon works fine. Room looked and felt clean. Anti-Covid measures were visible and enforced. The Parking is expensive at 10 euros a night, and confusing, both to find and to enter, not to mention to leave!!! Overall a fine experience, I got what I payed for, and when going back to or through Nimes, I will happily return to this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay there very quite enjoyed the breakfast as well and it’s was very safe as well , the receptionist were very friendly and assisting, the locations is very perfect also closer to walk around the city center and back

The room was next to some machinery on the top floor so it was impossible to sleep because of the noise. When I told this to the staff they had a "bad luck" attitude and advised me to buy earplugs. The parking has a dedicated motorcycle lot but the automatic door does not work for motorcycles (because of the weight sensor). They forgot to mention this.
