The room was clean.Breakfast was good,enough of everything.All staff were helpful.Location was perfect for the Arènes.Can’t understand the negativity in other reviews.I will stay again when I return to Nimes.I did not use the Restaurant in the evening but the bar man does a good g and t.

I will start by the end.Terrible hotel. Reasons: As Gold Member they said I can no add my booking as it was done via Booking.com…never the less I asked them to introduce my membership number in the system to my booking. In the bedroom not even a small welcome bottle of water…had to walk at night to find a place to buy a bottle. I had a suit and I asked if they have a cleaning,ironing service..Nothing.Do they have an arrangement with a provider..No..So I asked a iron and this one was available without table.. And for the best…For 19 euros basically I paid a coffee..Scrambled eggs super cold,bacon cold and like they have been cooked over an over for 3 days and the rest some slices of ham remaining on a plate.I was a the breakfast 1h30 minutes before they close. Worst Novotel I have been so far in my business trips.

We contacted the hotel before arriving and they treated us correctly and pleasantly. They gave us all the information we required and we requested a room upgrade, taking advantage of the fact that we are Accor Platinum members and have two suite upgrades available. However, when we arrived at the hotel, they did not give us the welcome drink that we were due for our level of fidelity. The room we were given was a suite, but we were very disappointed by its lack of maintenance, decoration, and cleanliness. We found it extremely poor for a room that cost 180 euros per night. In addition, we went to the buffet service in the evening and had to wait more than 20 minutes for the drink to be brought to us. When we reminded them that they had not offered us the welcome drinks, they told us that they could subtract the value of a beer, which was what corresponded to us even though we were two people. In other hotels where we have stayed, they have discounted two drinks and we have been able to choose between other options and not just a beer. At checkout, they also did not show us the invoice so we could verify the charges, but instead they indicated the total amount and then they gave us the sealed invoice after we had paid. The truth is that we feel very disappointed by the treatment we received from a Novotel chain hotel, especially in a city as charming as Nimes and being loyal customers of Accor for so many years.

Fantastic location close to the old part of town including the arena. Easy walking distance to do a tour of the old town. Rooms were on the small side (typical in France) but clean and comfortable. Our only issue with the room was that we had a shower over the bath which meant we had to be careful stepping in and out. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues so ask for a walk in shower if this applies to you. Breakfast was good with many options and plenty of room with an attached covered courtyard. Staff very friendly and helped with a restaurant booking. Would stay again.

Great location and a nice breakfast, but everything was very dated in the rooms. The carpet was thin and felt dirty (likely due age). However the staff was very nice and helpful, and it was an easy walk to the arena. Parking garage was convenient. Some renovations appear to be underway, but we mostly observed plumbing work.
