Rushed and Disrespectful Service at Novotel Vaughan

I felt embarrassed by the server (Sayim) at Novotel in Vaughan. I was having an open buffet breakfast with my two daughters when the server suddenly approached our table, asked for our room number, and then walked away. A couple of minutes later, he returned, took my plate without asking if I was finished or not, and immediately gave me the bill. The restaurant is not busy and quite empty of customers. But what is that? Is that how customers are supposed to be treated here? I just paid the bill and went back to our room even though I want to eat more because I didn’t want to argue and ruin my morning since I was with my two daughters. But hello? I paid full price on the open breakfast buffet.

Spacious & nice rooms, good location, but one out of 2 only elevator’s out of service for 5 days during my stay, noisy sound from early morning garbage and food supply trucks, bad view on background and parking, very limited knowledge of staff, very bad breakfast variety, taste but friendly service of waiters. anything you order out of the poor buffet is chargeable including basics coffee and cappuccino knowing No available machine for self-service coffee or cappuccino or hot water for tea. Although I’m an Accor member they didn’t postpone my check out for any hour without being chargeable.

This is my go-to property in Vaughan. I have stayed at the Aloft, the Monte Carlo Inn and the Springhill suites, the courtyard by Marriott and this rises above all. Thank you to the front-line reception staff for always treating me like family and the newly renovated roomsmake me feel like I am staying at a more elevated property than the price suggests. Keep doing what you’re doing :-) My loyalty is absolute.

Family of five. After exhausting day at Canadas Wonderland, this hotel was a well appreciated very short drive away. Our two bed, room was HUGE! Decorated very nicely! The bar, open late, allowed hubby and I to grab a bottle of wine, glasses, and drinks for kids to take up to our room. (I’m sure they would have delivered if we had asked) In the morning we hit the hot tub and pool, only one other family there, so felt like we had it all to ourselves. Took a short drive to Denny’s for breakfast, then headed to Bass Pro (ya, two teenage boys) the hotel and location was perfect.

Centre of Vaughan..very big and clean rooms..perfect breakfast..smiling people..lots of parking area..easy access to highways..all rooms looks outside and very big Windows.. lobby is big and restaurant is very good quality and variety..
