Unclean sheets

For the price, this place is just not good. Cleanliness is key and they are missing the mark. I checked in, exhausted, and got in bed only to realize there is no sheet, just a duvet/top cover. That would be fine except it didn't appear the sheets had been cleaned. Gross. Too tired to wait for clean sheets, I slept on the side without a makeup stain. The next morning, I put the card on that asked for clean sheets left for the day, When I returned, I checked and the EXACT stain was there. Again they didn't clean the sheets. Also at arrival the toilette paper was wet and covered in what looked like pee. They had not changed it out. I threw it away and used tissues. This place has a cleanliness issue. I would avoid.

Having stayed at this upscale hotel several times I was surprised and so disappointed during my recent visit. Check-in was easy and uneventful. The metal saddle from the room to the bathroom had a sharp nail protruding and I cut my toe twice. The shower would not work and when I called to have someone come up? No one came, and I was unable to shower for two days. On top of the $350 that it cost me for one night for a solo room there was an additional charge of $21 for parking. During the night, as there was no single sheet, I was extremely warm. In spite of the fact the air conditioning was on, the room would not get cool enough, and the winter blanket was incredibly heavy with no relief to get cool. Another night’s sleep lost. upon checkout, while quietly retelling the issue with the cut on my toe due to the faulty saddle, there was no single sheet and I lost a night sleep, and there was no shower available to me. In spite of the fact this was an upscale hotel. At that point, I was offered free parking and free breakfast. The breakfast was the most disgusting display of food that would be ashamed to be served in a motel along the highway. I am completely shocked, disappointed that this was offered to me in lieu of a night sleep a hot shower and a comfortable room without cutting my foot. The free parking and free breakfast were sad disappointments and certainly did not make up for my experience. I will never stay in this hotel again, shame on them for the price they charged me.

Good basic hotel served its purpose

Stayed here as a child 30+ years ago and now back as an adult with my two children. Overall good basic no frills hotel. Did the trick for what we needed. Staff was friendly, especially the breakfast buffet waiter who went above and beyond! Some areas of the hotel seemed a bit tired and there is some opportunity to refresh. Old beaten up signage in halls, stained carpet here and there, closed (but still filled) pool, old plumbing hardware that fell off in shower, etc. Location is great, connected to North York Center shopping mall and subway station. Parking seemed reasonably priced at $20/night.

VERY disappointing

We spent 7 nights at this hotel. Our room had some major issues such as a toilette that had a lot of difficulty flushing (!), a bathtub that had a clogged drain so as you showered you would accumulate soapy water up past your ankles, as well as no bathroom fan to remove the steam... We had to insist with the desk personnel in order to have these issues dealt with. Eventually they sent a maintenance person but the problems were not resolved. We insisted on changing rooms. They didn't even offer to help move (I had to get a trolley and move everything). The first room they changed us to had a kingsized bed - inappropriate for 3 people! Finally we got another room with 2 beds but the only difference was that the toilette worked - the other issues were the same. The most maddening part is that they didn't even offer any kind of discount or even waive the parking fee as a gesture of goodwill. Very disappointing on all counts.

We have booked this hotel to stay as very good location, my niece live in Canada,before I came to Canada my niece surprise she was expecting and hotel far from her residence so I have asked hotel to cancel and if the can refund money as I booked as non-refundable rate!! Hotel manager Radka ask me to contact Booking .com as booked it from it I have contact booking .com explain the situation and same time I was talking to hotel receptionist Ayush he was very calm and polite he did handle the everything and Radka aswell. The good news is I have got full refund within 2 days. Thank you so much you both been very helpful and I didn't loose any money.
