Basic hotel with good location

The rooms are very small, bathroom is the smallest I have seen ever. The breakfast is very basic. Indians would have a hard time in choosing what to eat. The location is good being very close to Iconsiam. There is almost no room service. You will have to do moat of the things yourself. Most of the rooms have a small double bed which is just ok for 2 people. Strictly select new rooms if you have children.

Very rude response by Ibis Riverside Bangkok staff

Not a very helpful staff, primarily the housekeeping team. Room cleaning wasn't done because they said the board for making the room wasn't hung on the door !!! I requested that maybe I forgot and it'll be helpful if basic cleaning and bedsheet change is done. But it was refused very bluntly and rudely. Ibis/Accor management must review it closely as a small mistake though admitted and sincerely requested and point blank refused highly rudely. Rude behaviour is not the hallmark of a reputed brand !!!

Location: Stunning riverside position with easy access to Sathorn and Silom neighborhoods. The view alone adds significant value to the stay. Room (Standard Twin Bed): Clean and functional room at a very affordable price point. Note that the standard twin configuration appears designed for single occupancy—bathroom lacks hooks for towels/clothing, and no bathrobes or slippers are provided. Budget travelers should be aware of these limitations. Breakfast: Decent breakfast buffet covering international basics. Suitable for the hotel's price category. Staff: Staff communicate well in English and were helpful throughout the stay. Overall: Outstanding value for money, especially considering the riverside location and views. Room amenities are minimal but appropriate for the Ibis budget brand. Best suited for travelers prioritizing location and price over in-room luxury.

I stayed here with my partner, and from check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. The staff provided a warm and courteous welcome and were always ready to assist. I would especially like to commend Manager Kook (Ms. Thitirat Pankham) for her exceptional service and attention to every detail, which made us feel very comfortable and truly well taken care of. The room was very clean, the bed was soft and incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well. All amenities were complete, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The room also offered a beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River, which was especially stunning in the evening and at night. This hotel is truly perfect for relaxation. Additionally, it is a pet-friendly hotel, which is a great bonus. Overall, the experience exceeded all expectations in every way, and we will definitely return in the future. I had a great experience at the Ibis Riverside Hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and well organized. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the riverside location makes the stay even more enjoyable. I would especially like to mention the manager, Miss Kook, who provided excellent service. Miss Kook was very friendly, professional, and helpful, which really made a difference and made me feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future.
