A nice mid tier hotels

Stay for 5 night everything went well, we book directly to them & as a accord members we have a few perks. We paid a reasonable rate given is on Christmas week, room size is ok, front desk is efficient, they do " eco housekeeping" basically you need to inform them if you want your room to be clean, coin laundry washing machine available, free coffee at the 3rd floor lobby, breakfast is nice ( if it come with the room), great location - lots of convenient store, resto, don quixote, malls, even few adult establishment, nearby train station also. Only downside would be is the hotel is pretty full that time, so elevator take awhile or waiting for a available washing machine 😉

Check-in was smooth, assisted by Lia who was both professional and friendly. The rooms were clean (upgraded to privilege floor due to Accor status) and cozy. The pajamas were a nice touch and much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of Japanese and Western cuisine. Hotel was also walking distance to Odori park which allowed us to visit it right after check-in (a definite plus!) Only one feedback - suggest to have teabags/sachets in the rooms (together with the coffee) as not everyone drinks coffee. Other than the one comment, it was a great experience at the hotel and will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Sapporo.

Location: Convenient, 3mins walk to nearest susukino station, near to Tanukikoji Shopping street (8 mins walk), Airport Limousine bus about 3-4 mins walk across the hotel Price: Reasonable Service: Diamond member was well taken care of, unlimited access to Lounge and food was great, breakfast have wide variety, unique pancake machine to make pancakes by waving hand, ice cream was served, room was upgraded upon check in, able to microwave our food hot at the lobby level

Smelly and tired room

Stayed here for two nights on my first trip to Sapporo. The hotel is situated in a great location with numerous shops and restaurants across and along the streets while the seafood market was a few blocks away. We were upgraded from the twin deluxe room to a premier deluxe room on the 14th floor (1413), which was a bigger room consisting of a couch, but the room itself had a dusty carpet and the bathroom had a revolting urine smell, most likely coming from the seat contraption as it looked ancient. Complained to the front desk and they cleaned it on the second day but the smell still lingered, although it was an improvement from the first night. Soundproofing was below average - on the second night, our neighbors in the upstairs bedroom and next door neighbors started banging something until 2am, perhaps packing something into their bags and every step and creak could also be heard. I liked the welcome gift cookies that were provided but other than that, this hotel needs a thorough deep cleaning and refurbishment.

“Spacious Rooms, Central Spot—Service Needs Work”

The hotel’s location is very central, making it convenient for exploring the city. Rooms are well-sized and nicely appointed, and breakfast offers a fairly extensive selection. That said, service and operations could be better. The front desk staff were not very courteous, and even for a simple request—such as assistance with the elevator—you are told to wait in line. Housekeeping was also a challenge. The hotel does not provide daily cleaning unless booked in advance, which can be difficult to manage when you have a busy tour schedule. During our stay, we only received fresh towels and trash collection, but no actual room cleaning or bed-making. Even a simple request for water was refused by the cleaning staff because we were due to check out later that day, despite having paid for an extended stay. The third-floor reception area also feels dated and gives off a tired, almost Chinese restaurant vibe, which could be refreshed to match the otherwise modern rooms. Overall, the stay was good but not great. The location and room quality are definite plus points, but service and housekeeping standards need improvement for the experience to feel truly welcoming and comfortable.
