Good hotel in center of Menton (with really good breakfast)

One of the nicer Ibis hotels I've stayed at in Europe - my room was fairly spacious (by European standards), and clean and quiet. The included breakfast was also quite good - it puts the sad free breakfasts that US chain hotels provide to shame. The location is also convenient, on a quiet street a couple blocks from Menton's old city (easy 3 minute walk) and walkable from the train station as well (10 min walk). Also, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had the loveliest stay here! Parking below made it so easy and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was delicious and lots of options (including soya milk which was great!). The staff were very helpful and friendly and were able to suggest the most lovely restaurant for dinner on our first night there (JR Bistronomi- which is very nearby). Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Warm friendly efficient welcome. Giselle and Fredrica were fantastic and went out of their way to help us settle in. They booked a dinner reservation for us at a lovely restaurant called trattoria. The room we had had a balcony. There was enough space and reception had also added a kettle with tea & coffee. The room was spotless, so clean . Housekeeping keep the whole hotel very clean. Breakfast was nice , no bacon & eggs etc but plenty of cereal, toast , pastries etc. location was perfect for train station and menton centre and beach.

Excellent hotel close to everything

The hotel is walking distance to all major attractions in this very nice town. The hotel staff is attentive, professional and very helpful. Diego, in particular, was outstanding! The room we got had a balcony and was clean, large and had all the amenities needed. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice, a variety of fruits, cheeses and breads. Better than the usual Ibis Styles offering. We considered other options in Menton, but were happy with this hotel, indeed, the best in the city in our opinion.

Very friendly staff, Diego at the front desk was helpful and knowledgable. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and with good coffee. It’s a convenient location and a reasonable price./value. I would stay there again.
