Great place for a visit, reception was good, room very clean and comfortable, parking no problems, the Hotel is a few minutes away from the Village shops and a short drive to the gardens. Wineries are a short drive away from the Hotel but some are minutes away

Our team stayed in in December 2024, would stay again. Ample parking, great pool, and sitting area just off of reception. The bar & breakfast staff were amazing to deal with. The hotel is located close to so many great places within walking distance of the Gardens & fun activities there.

Very nice grounds. Lovely breakfast served. Room very clean. TV worked easily. Nice private area to sit just outside. Thought everything was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Was well looked after and if we were down this way again, would have no hesitation staying.

The Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens offers plenty of parking and features a lovely bar and dining area, with a warm ambiance and an impressive selection of local wines to complement the menu. The food at the restaurant is great, with flavourful, well-presented dishes. The staff are lovely and helpful. I stayed in an upstairs room, which was a good size with well-functioning air conditioning. The room also had a nice little balcony and complimentary biscuits, which were a pleasant touch to enjoy with coffee. However, the room was a bit dated, with older-style furnishings and slightly worn carpets, so don’t expect something new. While the desk was a bit small for extensive work, the WiFi was adequate for basic needs like checking emails and light streaming, though it might not handle heavy video conferencing. The resort’s lovely grounds and beautiful gardens make it a relaxing place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.
