I stayed here as i had some important office online meetings to attend that were on US eastern times. Right from check in till check out and even after check out i think there was one thing amiss here. Don't want to be critical but at check in I was not greeted with my platinum status , the upgrade as claimed by the hotel did not seemed like it was an upgrade .. complimentary wifi was speed was so so not something i have experienced with other Accor properties across India ... and on top of all near misses they did during my stay .... they called me after i reached home informing me that i did not pay the in room dining bill and asked to pay that .... this was it ... that would be a different story altogether on how and what and so on ... i would certainly give this a pass if i have to stay here again for sure ....

Not upto the normal Novotel Standards

In the name of covid protocols there was no service available on behalf of the hotel. Carry your own luggage, even in the breakfast you have to wait at the live counters which led to overcrowding at the live counters. Instead of things from the live counters were served on the table less rush would have been there. The food taste was just average.

Novotel Pune is lovely hotel ,close to Pune airport ,yet very peaceful and quiet inside Been here recently on a weekend taking a break from work Check in was good though could be speeden up by allowing Accor plus members atleast to send in all documents by mail beforehand and keeping separate counter for priority check in .Staff at counter do make up with thei rpleasing and welcoming attitude Rooms and common areas are clean ,covid appropriate preventive measures in place In house restaurant The Square has a good buffet for meals ,Food is good ,tasty ,all at restaurant ready to attend to you without bothering or disturbing you Big thanks to Ratnesh and TJ for promptly attending to issue raised by me and solving it From tourist point of view ,veryclose to airport and easy to visit all sites in pune Aga khan palace is very close almost walkable distance

Borderline pathetic.

The check in and check out takes around half an hour. The special requests at the time of booking are completely ignored. They are unable to provide BASIC services when the hotel is full, which is always the case as they've turned this property to another IBIS. ALL IN ALL, not a happy experience at all. I don't see myself going here again. And lastly, I am pretty sure they do not value feedback as there are no changes visible from the last time I visited.

A great hotel although off city limits. The check in process was little slow possibly due to weekend rush. The food was great and the service upto the mark. Will definitely stay again at the property in future

We stayed 3 nights last week. Everything was great. What set them apart was the way they responded to my unusual request made at 9:30 pm when we arrived to check-in. I asked the duty manager whether he could get two bean bags (for photography) filled with rice. Shops were already closed due to the pandemic and we were departing early the next morning. He readily agreed to try his best. Within a half hour, he and the chef delivered the bean bags filled perfectly to our room; charges were very reasonable. The way the staff respond to unusual requests in desperate situations of guests sets them apart.

Had booked 3 rooms. 1) Room Service is horrible - Need to wait atleast an hour to receive the cutlery and they give paper plates & paper glasses to drink water. They didn’t have bowls. Asked for glasses, they sent 4 types different glasses 2) Housekeeping does not clean rooms until 5pm [Requested the service at 8.30am] 3) Had booked the rooms in advance and had asked for a pool view room - Never got that but I got a slum view room, when requested at the reception for room change, the staff said no rooms are available but i saw few rooms that were vacant through my stay 4) Breakfast is served cold, they serve tea in paper cups too. When enquired the person servicing said that since there are parallel events going on they can't provide proper cutlery even when the guests eat in the hotel restaurant 5) The showerhead was broken, inspite of asking the room service to fix it no one showed up. There was no door stopper in one of the rooms, no QR code to see options for in room dining. 6) No accountability from the staff, you ask a question they push it to someone else and this just goes on and on. When asked for a feedback form at the reception during checkout, never got that too. I was told they’ll email it to me but no email yet Unacceptable service from a five star.

WORST PATHETIC AND UNETHICAL PRACTICES DUE TO HIGH COST CUTTINGS

the hotel is open to all . i being an accor plus ( all member ) . knowing that the rates were low due to covid-19 they are on a spree of unethical malpractices like . not giving a welcome voucher to the member of accor staying in the hotel. charges on ordering cutlery like spoon or a fork or even a single plate. they are trying to remove their hotel cost expendutres via these practices and thugging thier in house guest. the manager has no answer during an arguement which i had and also thier in room dining manager was very rude and unpolite. please avoid this hotel . they lure you to book a room with their low prices online or on the accor app. but there are plenty of other options way better then novotel pune in the area with a slight higher price where they fulfill all the said promised services which are mandatory and also a right of the customer in house guest.

The hotel was very clean and very safe. In 8th and 9th floor housekeeping staff jhooma was very helpful and cooperative and her skills was also very good. In food also it was very good and covid guidelines was also very strictly followed also bar service was very good. Mr. TJ has done a very good job maintaining the hotel in terms of security and services

This time the stay was terrible. Felt like staying in local lodge. Bedding set was not clean. Had to wait 5 hrs for hot kettle to be replaced. Breakfast taste has changed drastically. This is not the previous one in which I stayed.

The front office & housekeeping staff are brilliant. Jay stands out in the front office. The restaurant staff and food leaves much to be desired. The Chef is unable to maintain consistency. The shower water pressure is very low.

Issue with next door neighbours

We were disturbed at 8pm on the first day and then again the next day at 3.30am as we could here loud music and loud noise form the next room. It was difficuly as we were travelling with an 8 month old child.

Very good service by Novo tel. Very good service by front desk, apeksha, saskhi, Tjay. Above all, special mention chef Vikash did special diet for me which I wanted. This was out of box. Thank you. Room AC was a problem as it was cold apart from that the service from novotel was excellent. Well done...

We stayed at Novotel over weekend and had booked Suite for family of 4. The best experience was from F&B team who took great care of all of us. Great work done by Satyam Swami (F&B) and always served the best meal possible.

Visited the property during Covid times - had some reservations, but they were put to bay. Had booked the Executive Suite - Novotel does know how to pamper its customers. Special shout out to TJ and Aditya - they put in special efforts to make our stay comfortable. Will def be back when in Pune.

Hotel staff is not cooperative at all, you need to ask them same thing again and again. Experience like government institutions, staff point's to each other for decisions. Good Cleanliness in area but you wont have 5 star experience.

Chekin took more then one hour of time due to Hotel POs machines were not working and front office was not ready to accept that their payment machines were not working. Despite of giving them 4 Credit and Debit of different banks More over they were not ready to accept online payment. I had to go out and get cash from ATM Machine.

The hotel staff were extremely cooperative and understanding. The hotel was completely sanitized and staff was proactive during all the times. The service by restaurant staff was noteworthy and the food was quite delicious.

Very good hotel for its price. Superb customer service

I stayed in this hotel recently for 2 nights. Pros: 1. Very clean hotel with wide hallways. 2. Breakfast spread is really good 3. Customer service is excellent. I dealt with a gentleman named Shivaji and he took care of my broken suitcase by arranging someone to come and fix it (during the flight one of the wheels had come out) economically without causing any inconvience to me. The lady who checked me in (unfortunately dont remember her name) was super courteous and made sure everything was done right.. My shout out to them Cons: they had a special for Laundary for 10 clothes for ~800 rs.. I gave my 10 clothes to them but they did not apply that special at the checkout time and refused to adjust it. Ended up paying 2200 rs instead.
