Отель находится в спальном районе города на западе Пекина, примерно в 10-ти минутах ходьбы от станции метро. Вблизи нет привычных нам кафе и ресторанов – только местная кухня в виде забегаловок и стритфудов. В то же время, рядом с отелем находятся представительства крупных китайских банков. При входе в отель меня встретили ошарашенные взгляды сотрудников стойки. Даже для сетевого западного отеля, коим является Mercure, визит иностранца – это большой стресс, поскольку английский язык здесь не знает практически никто. Однако, отсутствие знания языков у персонала в моем случае было компенсировано онлайн переводчиком и большим желанием персонала помочь мне. Милая девушка с ресепшен проводила меня до номера, помогла настроить wi-fi и даже всячески пыталась помочь с багажом :) Сами же номера уже морально немного устарели – где-то видны царапины на мебели, но в целом номера выглядят весьма достойно за свою цену. Порадовала наполненность номера стандартными средствами гигиенами и прочими удобствами. В номере было кажется абсолютно все, что полагается отелю подобного уровня, – зубные наборы, утюг с гладильной доской, бесплатная вода, письменные принадлежности, фен и даже и будильник :) Завтраки приобретал за дополнительную плату в ресторане при отеле. Практически вся еда, которая представлена на шведском столе, максимальна непривычна для нашего восприятия – какие-то водоросли, батат, яичница, обжаренная с двух сторон, с добавлением соевого соуса и прочие непонятные мне желеобразные субстанции. Есть, откровенно говоря, нечего. Рум сервис в отеле как таковой отсутствует. Ресторан работает по странному времени и в вечернее время не функционирует. Учитывая, что рядом с отелем отсутствуют рестораны, нужно быть готовым к тому, что если вы не позаботились о своем ужине заранее, то вы останетесь голодными :) Несмотря на все недостатки, данный вариант размещения за свою цену весьма неплох и отлично подойдет для тех, кто не хочет переплачивать за расположение и для кого комфорт номеров является приоритетным при выборе отеля.

Third time coming here for business . Excellent service, great food, and clean room with good view. Walking distance to the biggest shopping mall in the area with lots of options of food. Two floor gym with two swimming pools, one for swimming and one for hot spring with massage device. Good place for relaxing, loving it. The food is great, can’t complain about it. Front desk are really helpful, excellent service for sure. Overall, top choice for business and travel with family or friends.

We were placed in this hotel by our tour company. The hotel was clean, and mostly comfortable. The bed was pretty hard and literally felt like we were sleeping on a wooden board (a bit of a shock the first night, but I guess my back got used to it the remainder of our stay there). The room didn’t have any decent sized drawers that you could put clothes in, so we left our socks, underwear, and kids clothing in our luggage. The bathroom didn’t have a bathtub, but the shower was pretty big and had both a large shower head and handle. The breakfast was excellent. It had both Asian and Western foods. I enjoyed a nice bowl of wonton soup and pork dumplings each morning. The main issue we had at this hotel was the lack of staff members who spoke English. I understand this is a Chinese hotel, but being in the hotel industry I’d expect them to at least understand the basic words (such as check-in, water, soap). There was only one woman at the front desk that spoke a decent amount of English (I believe her name was Leh), but sometimes I did have to repeat myself when asking her questions. When trying to check-in, the woman who didn’t understand a word of English first just stared at me, then ignored me. There is a supermarket about a block away called Carrefour. It’s in the basement of the mall, and is a little hard to find. You have to find the right escalator that will take you down to that floor, the elevators do not go to that floor. Since most people in Beijing don’t speak English, they didn’t seem to understand when we asked for Carrefour, but did understand when we typed in “supermarket” into our translating app.

Good location, very big shopping mall near by. very convenient to super market. lots of restaurant surround hotel. Very busy hotel, the Concierge are very helpful and with smile at all time. fount desk staff are very friendly. but the breakfast don't have much choices, but its just OK. we couldn't use the google service and YouTube when you connect hotel WiFi . lovely garden good lobby Bar and nice Gym.

small dark, not clean room , needs repairs and update urgently, carpets and windows very dirty, noise from lifts opposite the room, slow service, but helpful in reception( not good with english). Suitcase rack broke into pieces under my suitcase. The food and service in the Cafe (exception breakfast) was horrible: one of 2 main courses was forgotten, then after 40 min. a wrong dish served, the pizza was commercial from a fridge and half uncooked and slimy...( I had a chinese partner on the side, so no misunderstanding with language) . And they still charged half for the food. fully for 2 beer) Very unprofessional and insecure with serviceattitude. Unskilled?? JK
