Good value hotel near to the station

Stayed for two nights after visiting Morocco on business. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from the station (not as close as in Casa and Marrakech, but still close), in the newer part of the city. The beach with its restaurants and coffee shops is also only a couple of minutes away, with the new marina and old town a pleasant walk along the back of the beach. Check-in (and out) was quick and efficient, and the room was compact and clean, with a good comfortable bed (as you’d expect from an Ibis). Good aircon, good Wifi and a good shower, the only slight downside was not many power sockets in the room. Some construction work across from the hotel, but this did not disturb me. I didn’t eat at the hotel as there were plenty of good places nearby. Good option for a well-priced hotel near to the station.

Very bad behavior from the receptionist Youssef who was so rude and disrespectful when i asked him to extend my stay in the hotel,then i showed him my reservation via booking for extra one week,refused and asked me not to extend in the hotel,then he started laughing with some restaurant waiters using some very bad words in arrabic that I could understand ,it was really a very bad experience.then he told me he is the responsible and the manager was not free that day. I don't understand how à big international hotel such as Ibis employes like this kind of people who don't have any profession,any respect through the customers I will never come back again

it was really a gooooooood experience there, and I would like to say thanks to Rachida in the reception she is a good and nice person sincerely you feel like you are home !!!!!! Thaaaaank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We chose the Ibis to be close to the train station, as we had a short two day visit to Tangier. We’d originally looked at staying in the Medina but due to some room changes and mobility needs, had to adjust our accommodations. The Ibis was well priced and in a great location - easy to walk to the train station and to the end of the corniche area. There are convenience stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Having just stayed at another Ibis, this one was a little rougher around the edges. Furniture, bathroom and carpet all a little worn and could do with a refresh, but it was clean with comfy bedding. The lack of coffee outside of a ‘hit and miss’ machine was a bit disappointing, and the bar options were very limited so we had to walk to the nearby Hilton for a cocktail (which mind you, is a great idea if you’d like to sip with a view of the stunning sea all the way to Gibraltar!) Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the sunny pool area was a welcome outdoor space to get some air.
