We stayed here in a 2 bedroom apartment over Easter. The apartment was very spacious but the paintwork was chipped on all the doors and the lighting needs to be improved in the hallway. Breakfast was adequate, but not always replenished quickly enough. The reception staff didn’t seem very friendly as they didn’t look up to acknowledge you when you walked right past them! These are all easy fixes! The pool was also closed during our stay which was very disappointing. If we had been made aware of this beforehand we would have chosen to stay in a different less expensive hotel. Good location though, 5 minutes walk to Casino Square and bus stops to take you to the harbour, old town and palace. The train station is about 10 mins walk away if you’re looking to explore more of the Cote D’Azur.

Positives - location, comfy bed and they allowed us to check in a bit earlier and out a bit later. However, the apartment was not nice at all. Looks better on photos. Needs updating and please repaint the doors and wardrobe doors white, the dark blue colour is awful and makes the apartment look even duller. No view from apartment. Staff not very friendly apart from Emmanuel who we saw some nights. He always said hello and acknowledged us. Most staff don't even look up when you walk past. Sorry, but would never stay again and wouldn't recommend.

Complaint Regarding Non-Functional Internet Service During My Stay

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your esteemed hotel in Monaco. While I have always appreciated the hospitality and services provided by ADAGIO , my recent experience was marred by a significant issue that I believe warrants your attention. During my stay in Adagio Palais Josephine from the 23rd of June to the 28th of June, the internet service in my room (room 320) was not functioning. As a business traveller, reliable internet connectivity is crucial for me to stay connected with my family and manage my professional commitments. Although I complained three times about the lack of internet in my room, everyone assured me that the internet connection was working perfectly fine, and they reacted as if I were complaining for no reason. I must inform you that one day prior to my departure from your hotel, I discovered that there was internet connection only in the bathroom! I had no clue. If I had known, I would have put my pillows and covers in the bathtub and stayed there day and night. Unfortunately, due to the lack of internet service, I had to purchase expensive roaming packages from my Greek internet provider to stay connected. The consequences of this situation were severe: 1. I lost several important businesses deals due to interrupted communication and lack of timely responses. Each 500MB I was purchasing at the cost of 102 euro was vanishing in 20 minutes. 2. The excessive use of roaming packages led my Greek internet provider to suspect fraudulent activity, resulting in my phone and internet services being cut off. This added another layer of inconvenience and stress to my stay. I believe that reliable internet service is a basic expectation and a standard offering in hotels of your calibre. The lack of such a service not only caused significant financial loss but also impacted my professional and personal life adversely. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Apt521 smells of raw sewage, host Andrea is arrogant and refuses to send maintenance team

Truly dumbfounded by the staggering level of arrogance, inertia, unwillingness and incompetence of the host Andrea at this apartment. The smell of raw sewage is overpowering and unbearable — Andreas did NOTHING to try to resolve the issue, other than to make fun of a request for him to send a maintenance engineer to the property and suggested it needed a plumber instead, as if this was a laughing matter. The stench in this apartment clearly breaches all levels of hygiene and modern safety standards — a truly terrible experience that was not helped by the lofty, haughty and extremely sneering and arrogant approach of Andrea. His despicable manner needs to be highlighted, along with his apparent suggestion that this was normal for the area — what a lamentable, bizarre and deeply unprofessional attitude. In addition, he also concocted a story about the lights (which did not work on arrival) and then, for no reason at all, sent a contractor to remove a working kitchen light. Strange. This person should not be working in customer relations. Finally, I have made two complaints to booking.com and not received a single response. Terrible, terrible attitude. DO NOT STAY IN APT521!!!!
