Like a submarine

Had the triple room and felt like I was in the smallest room I had ever been in. Felt like a submarine could barely move or store luggage at all. Toilet is basic and also tiny. AC was not great but better than not having at all in heat wave. If you stay ensure you know it’s tiny accommodation. Location also not amazing as it off the beaten track. If there is something closer to the town and bigger take it

While exploring the city we decided to stay here for a night since we were family of 5 books 2 rooms. They given us different floors kids were away from us despite requesting for close by if not connected. The rooms are extremely small not really a place for family can't even put it in your luggage specifically if you are coming from another country you will have per person a travel bag which will not be easy to put in the room and move around. The parking on the property is the most expensive one. The most annoying part was the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful

Functional budget hotel

We spent four nights at this hotel. All hotels in Lucerne are very expensive, so I felt that this Ibis was very overpriced for what it is, compared to Ibis hotels in other cities. However, for Lucerne, it was at the cheaper end. The location is good - only about 15 minutes' walk from the main station. The parking situation is challenging - the on-site parking is very limited. We couldn't get a space on the day we arrived, and had to park on the street and get up early to move the car before parking restrictions started for the day. Room was standard for this type of hotel - a double bed with a bunk bed over the top. There was a curtain to divide the main part of the room from the sink and shower. As a couple, we felt the room was big enough but if you had children as well it might feel a bit cramped. We at breakfast at the hotel for a couple of the days. There weren't many other options for breakfast in the vicinity, and due to the expensive nature of Lucerne, the breakfast offered value for money. It was kept well stoked up for the most par, although we did have to wait quite a long time for eggs one morning. I would consider staying here again if I ever go back to Lucerne.

Great budget hotel

For the price point, this place is awesome. We had a triple room for 3 people, it WAS tiny but clean and cozy and great hot shower. The breakfast was great too with bread, croissants, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, deli cuts and cappuccinos. It’s about a 10-15 walk to Main Street and main train station. We parked 1 night outside and 1 night inside the garage.

The room was nice and bed was cozy and we had fluffy pillows. The only thing was the ventilation did not work properly for us. The staff especially Joyce was attentive, helpful and friendly. The reception was twenty four hours open and also has food and drinks.
