The modern Novotel München Airport hotel is located directly at Munich Airport and has convenient bus connections directly from the terminal. Although our hotel is very close to the runway, the airport seems far away on arriving at our hotel. The excellent soundproofing in our rooms makes sure that you will find peace and relaxation after a long day or before your onward journey. Subtle tones and comfortable beds create a welcoming atmosphere.

After a long flight or meeting, you can let off steam in our fitness room or enjoy fresh dishes and small snacks from all over the world in our FLAVE restaurant and bar in a relaxed atmosphere. If you need to catch an early flight in Munich the next morning, the location of our airport is very convenient. You also have easy access to the brewery, Nymphenburg Palace and Theresienwiese Congress Centre in Freising.

Bus line 635 departs every 10 minutes from our hotel at Munich Airport and takes you directly to the terminal. The main train station is 30 minutes away by car, Freising 14 minutes by car and the Olympic Stadium 28 minutes by car.

Good Hotel

This is one of the best Novotel I know. They have nice rooms and a very good restaurant. Good architecture. The staff are very kind and helpful. It is conveniently connected to public transport (commuter train to the centre of Munich and airport about 5 minutes of walking and a busstop just in front of the door to the airport. The taxi ride to the airport is not too expensive as the trip is quite short.

Great staff, terrible dining experience.

Our room at the Novotel was very good and the staff we dealt with were excellent. However our dinner experience left a lot to be desired. We had returned our hire car as we were flying out the next day and were effectively captive at the Novotel for dinner. When we made our way down to the resturant area we were told that we had to eat in the bar. The resturant was closed. So we ate our meal at a small table in the bar as many people with grumpy small children checked in just behind us. It was loud, unpleasant and very distracting. We were the lucky ones. Some people had to sit up on bar stools at a bench to eat their meal. However we were all still charged full resturant prices for a bar meal. Not at all what I would have expected from the Novotel.
