The hotel staff are not well trained in particular Efe, Joy and Nancy on the front desk. After many attempts back and forth to contact the hotel to book a shuttle pick up from the airport with the names above telling me (very rudely and nonchalantly the hotel did not offer a shuttle service which is false since this service is clearly stated and advertised on the hotel’s websites and all booking platforms) I eventually got through to the front desk manager Mary, who told me the shuttle was booked BUT, I was still NOT PICKED UP AT THE AIRPORT! My flight was a late arrival and I specifically requested and booked the shuttle pick up for safety and security reasons only to still be left stranded by this hotel on my arrival at the airport. On getting to the hotel several hours later after struggling to find an alternative pick service at that very late arrival hour rather being apologetic and offering basic customer service for the complete shambles the hotel had left me in, Joy specifically was still extremely rude and nonchalant and still arguing with me that the hotel does not have a shuttle service!!! This really is not acceptable, your staff needs to be either trained on the services your hotel offers and generally on good customer service etiquette or these services (including the airport shuttle) needs to be removed from hotel descriptions and websites. Leaving your guests stranded and being unapologetic about it is simply not acceptable!!!

Hospitality standards from the staff is poor, lack of emotional intelligence, lack of empathy for the guest. I have never seen where a guest would need to go down to the reception in front of other guests to give his laundry for dry cleaning!!!totally weird. Front office agent Moses needs to undergo more training on how to greet the guest and body language usage when in front of a guest . We are paying, so your staff needs to learn how-serve with courtesy. Your room service staffs are bringing their card machines inside the room to plug to the socket and charge it before taking payment???? Wasting our time till our food got cold and unenjoyable! Even after telling her to come back for the payment so as to eat on time, she directly declined like we were going to run away without paying. Phones are not working properly, when ordering I was told to speak louder couple of times till I started shouting on top of my voice. Total wasted night

I’d rather title it home alone, as the only time I ventured to order food, the phone rang but it wasn’t answered.

I’m highly disappointed and overwhelmed with the state of disrepair; no doubt the location is excellent in terms of proximity to the international airport, but a lot still needs to be done in rehabilitation of the hotel The staffs are very ok dutiful and large space for other uses

Bij aankomst hebben we ruim 3 uur moeten wachten op een kamer. Dit terwijl er gereserveerd was. Elke keer te horen: nog 1 minuut. Kortweg een drama en zeker geen aanrader. Ontbijt ziet er niet uit en staat oud brood. Fruit lijkt ook niet vers.

Mijn 9 daags verblijf in Ibis Airport was een aangename ervaring. Het hotel ligt dicht bij de luchthaven. Iedereen is vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Mijn kamer was eenvoudig ingericht en proper. Ik heb elke nacht geslapen als een roos dankzij de uitstekende kwaliteit van de matras. Food&Bavarages manager Adhiraj Mitra en zijn team, waaronder Emeka, zorgden ervoor dat ik niets te kort kwam. De buffets waren gevarieerd en lekker. Ibis is volop aan het renoveren, maar daar heb ik geen ongemak van ondervonden. Het zwembad was op slechts 4 dagen tijd, geledigd, lekjes hersteld, gekuist en terug gevuld! Zeer snel, zeker wat Afrika betreft. Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader!
