Quality Hotel in Brilliant Location

First time as a guest here and was not disappointed. The room and facilities were excellent for my stopover travelling north. The cost was reasonable. Definitely book for the buffet breakfast. The associated restaurant and bar is brilliant, where I had some of the best oysters ever. Customer service was great, thank you Kylie, Mirandah and the other lovely staff I encountered. The parking facility is a bit expensive, but it’s a good convenience.

Decent Hotel. Terrible breakfast.

Nice hotel in good location. Staff are pleasant. View is basically a car park. Buffett Breakfast for $32 was pathetic. We wanted to treat ourselves so got there about 8.30am looking forward to a hearty breakfast to start the day, thinking it would be pretty impressive based on the price of it. I quickly noticed there were hardly any options available The few options that were available were cold or hardly had anything in them. We had to go halves in the last pastry. Nothing was being replenished. Fruit salad was that syrupy can stuff. If you want the barista coffee you had to pay more again. Without doubt the worst hotel breakfast experience I have ever had. The hotel would be better off just getting rid of the breakfast option. It’s embarrassing and tarnishes their image. . Or maybe just charge $12 for it. Would still be overpriced but you might get a few unfussed desperates who are strapped for time and just need anything in their stomach before they head off.

Arrived mid afternoon and found the hotel fairly easy. A good location near the beach. Parking is $10 overnight and it is secure. The hotel check in was smooth and the staff member was friendly and helpful, with some local knowledge. A nice walk along the beach with a sunset point of view. A local produce market in the morning with some fresh fruit, vegetables and other was nice. The dinner menu holds a variety of different foods. Nice food, although the chips were a little ordinary and perhaps overcooked. The beds are comfortable and the view was of the park across the road. My breakfast was included in the price and offered many options. The food was good and I enjoyed it. The checkout was smooth and easy. One thing to note was the bathroom soap dispenser at the vanity was empty. An easy oversight by housekeeping. Good location for all things Port Macquarie.

Disappointed. We were “upgraded” to a room that overlooked the carpark. The hotel is average and breakfast is a little sad. Staff were great but on a busy Sunday morning needed more support in the breakfast area. Guests were cleaning their own tables. Location is great.

This hotel is in a central location in Port Macquarie and it's moderately priced. The only issue we had was that my wife has a particular dietary requirement, which the restaurant did accomodate, but the meal wasn't overly appealing by comparison. We'll try it again next time we're staying in Port Macquarie, and we are optimistic. The stay was otherwise very good, and all the hotel staff were both friendly and helpful.
