The Yard restaurant boasts a superb international menu served in a contemporary setting. There are seven fully-equipped meeting rooms, the largest of which can welcome up to 600 guests.

A great stay in a great hotel.

I had a wonderful 5 night stay here! I was on my own but I felt very safe. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The hotel is very well situated being right in the city centre. Despite there being lots going on in the Peace Gardens, which my room overlooked, I was not disturbed and slept very well. I opted to have breakfast and I was not disappointed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate in booking to stay here again.

Booked the spa hotel to destress after a very significant trauma .My daughter and l booked a spa deal and spent more than we would normally for an overnight stay ( over £300 ) Sadly it didn’t meet our expectation .i had contacted the hotel earlier on the day of check in to ask about parking .The reception advised me where to park but gave no information regarding pre booking in order to get a discount .We therefore had to pay full price .A bit much when I had contacted them especially to ask .One of the receptionist seemed unable to answer any question we asked her or make any attempt to find an answer for us . Unfortunately the room key system was broken so every time you needed to gain access to your room .you had to queue at reception to ask a member of staff .This meant that you couldn’t just nip to your room for something . or come and go as you would normally . IWe won’t be staying there again .I feel like we wasted a lot of money on a poor experience .

Best hotel in Sheffield City Centre by far!!

Unpleasant stay at the Murcure St Paul’s Sheffield

We stayed at the MERCURE St Paul’s Fri 1st and Sat 2nd Aug. Reception couldn’t get their payment card machine to work and said it was a problem with our phones. The room was crabby with poor lighting, the air con did not work and the pillows were really uncomfortable. The breakfast both mornings was sub standard and the table was not clean and was marked and sticky. I thought it would be nice to pay a bit more for a special weekend but the experience was awful and not worth the money. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you are visiting Sheffield.

Myself and my friend attended with a package including treatments as a lovely suprise treat for my birthday! The spa reception team were super friendly and helpful explaining everything we had included in our package. The facilties were standard and seemed to be abit run down but overall you have everything you need and the changing rooms were kept clean. The two lovely girls who provided our treatments were Saffron and Lydia, we had a Face and Body treatment each. Their knowledge and massage skills were amazing and we walked away feeling refreshed. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
