distance to train station fantastic tea and coffee in room handy but found some of staff rude and unfriendly . the location not near much for food or entertainment . This ibis has a rule you have to pay a damage deposit for damage or other stuff in other ibis hotels i have visited. I have never been asked for this .which I find unacceptable due to being a solo traveller and only staying one night if I was part of a large group or on a weekend of binge drinking I would have paid it as that to me is what a deposit is for beds uncomfortable lack or blackout blinds with bright lights from building opposite bathroom small with lack of space Wouldn't recommend

Instead, we uploaded a card on file as a guarantee, which is a standard procedure for all guests and is listed as one of the requirements at check-in when making the booking. This policy helps ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. For dining and entertainment, there are several local restaurants and venues nearby. Options include Hart's Bakery for delicious pastries and coffee, and The Knights Templar for a great pub experience. These are just a short walk from the hotel. We apologize for the discomfort caused by the beds, lack of blackout blinds, and the small bathroom. We will take your feedback into account as we work on improvements. A very very pleasant stay here for two nights in November. The staff were very friendly and welcoming the entire time through check in and check out.  The location is pretty great if you're wanting to use the train like we did to visit Bath. The city center is a pretty easy walk away as well.  The rooms were extremely spacious I thought as well and the bed was really comfy.

I discovered a recording device and could clearly hear voices, laughter, and other conversations through it. This left me feeling extremely anxious and distressed, prompting me to immediately bring this to the attention of your management team. I shared video evidence of the situation with the manager on duty, and while I was moved to another room, I never received any explanation or follow-up about the presence of the device in my room. After repeatedly having to chase for an answer, I was eventually told that no explanation could be provided. This lack of clarity and communication compounded my anxiety. Throughout my stay, I felt unsafe, violated, and unable to rest properly, leading to significant emotional distress, including heightened anxiety and paranoia.

Comfy, convenient, secure, great location, lovely helpful staff . Only downside is the cooling system now set to winter meaning no option to change 🥵We were given 2 fans which was great though . Gorgeous soft pillows and impeccably clean room. Every staff member we spoke to was really helpful and approachable.

Just a short walk from Temple Meads Station and a perfect place to stay when going to a gig at the Marble Factory, just down the road. Really nice staff at check in/check out and the bar/restaurant. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom, both had everything I needed. Really good pizza available at all hours and decent selection at the bar.
