Decent hotel

Overall good. Hotel was clean, well appointed and in a convenient part of the city centre. I ate in the bar/restaurant and used the bar in the evening. Perfectly OK. Only gripe is that the hotel ran out of orange juice at breakfast one day. This can happen, although proper planning means it shouldn't with one of the most popular breakfast items. The real problem is that it did not get sorted in time for breakfast the next day. This is something a duty manager should deal with immediately.

I came here end of jan and it was great. 3rd floor comfy bed. Im currently back but on 4th floor and it’s terrible. Uncomfortable bed and pillows that hurt my neck and it’s soooo warm, windows open a tiny bit but it feels claustrophobic. The mini fridge makes things room temp. Nothing about this stay is good

Not good for a family stay. Pumped full of hen do’s, stag parties and to top it off a full 18year olds party crew, so noisy and although could argue hotel not responsible for guests, they are for not trying to organise some quieter areas. Bathroom is essentially part of the bedroom and saloon doors that don’t shut. May have just be unlucky but did stay multiple nights and pattern was the same

Not worth the money

My wife and I were due to spend two nights in Bristol but ended up leaving after one mainly due to an awful night's sleep in a very uncomfortable bed. We might have stuck it out for one more night but we thought about the other issues: - tired and outdated room - overly firm mattress and pillows provided neck and back ache - TV that only half worked (some channels just didn't show) - lack of a proper door to the bathroom (two almost saloon doors that don't meet in the middle) - lukewarm shower even on highest temperature setting - no lift to parking level (it requires you to still go up or down steps, not great for heavy luggage) So we got out of there and went to stay up the road in Gloucester, having had a decent time in Bristol otherwise. It's a tired hotel that is in dire need of updating. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good, and even the location was ideal, but we barely slept and we think for the money it's very expensive for what you do get.

Great stay, very clean and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was lovley with a wide selection. Hotel is in a great location close to city centre. Carpark is secure but quite tight. I would recommend a stay here. I would recommend a stay here.
