I have stayed in this hotel several times now in recent months. It is an excellent place to stay, bang in the center of Budapest, very well connected to the whole city by public transport. The lobby is very pleasant. The rooms well appointed, and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. The staff for extremely efficient and helpful. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

My current stay at this hotel is being a nightmare. Upon arrival, the hotel's system was down, and my confirmed reservation couldn't be located. The room I was eventually assigned had only a double bed, leaving my child without a place to sleep. Worse yet, both rooms were unclean, with dirty toilets and overflowing bins. The extra bed provided was in terrible condition, lacking basic bedding. Front desk staff were knocking on doors as they were not able check room availability.

Staying at the hotel was a very pleasant experience! The hotel is situated in a very convenient location on Váci Utca. It’s about a 3-5 minutes walk from Vörösmarty tér M1 Underground station. They serve a good breakfast. The staff were also very helpful! I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Budapest!

Anonimowo Znajomi - Opinie potwierdzone ALL

Na stronie Accor ten hotel jest opisany pięcioma gwiazdkami. W rzeczywistości hotel zasługuje na 3 gwiazdki. Jakość wykończenia hotelu jest raczej słaba, w łazience ciśnienie wody z prysznica było bardzo bardzo słabe, więc spłukiwanie np. szamponu było mocno utrudnione. Zgłosiłem to zastrzeżenie w recepcji, ale zamiast jakiejkolwiek formy rekompensaty dostałem ogólny adres e-mail do Accor. Śniadanie było ok, ale raczej w standardzie 3*. Ponadto podczas naszego pobytu trwał dosyć uciążliwy remont. Głównym powodem mojej niskiej oceny jest różnica w oczekiwaniach (5*) i w rzeczywistości.

A Grand Budapest Hotel!

This is as centrally located as you can get in Budapest. It’s a short walk to buses that will take you all over quickly and efficiently. Be sure to buy a very inexpensive transit pass - there are also trams and a subway. I received a room upgrade with my Accor silver status (thank you!) and it was spacious and lovely. The hotel has been fully remodeled. I had no trouble with air conditioning, in fact, it was great. There is a radiator in winter which can be adjusted or turned off. The desk is courteous and efficient, and good with questions. It’s a relatively large hotel and there might be minor check in delays if you arrive at an unlucky time. I had no troubles. There is a large amount of construction beside it, which I could see from my room, but I heard nothing. The shower bath is narrow and deep and it could use a shower bar.
