Dear Mr N, Thank you for sharing your experience. We deeply regret the unfortunate incident you described during your stay at Ibis Basel Bahnhof Hotel. The safety and satisfaction of our guests are our top priorities, and we take such matters very seriously. We understand your concern, but we would like to emphasize that it's dangerous and unfair to accuse the staff without any concrete evidence. Our hotel has been operating for 15 years, and we have never encountered such an incident. We assure you that we do not steal from our guests. In fact, any items left behind by guests are kept for six months before being disposed of. It is also impossible for someone to enter your room during the night. Our cleaning service is only conducted once the guest has departed. You must also consider the possibility that you may have lost your money on the way to the train station or at the station itself. It appears that you have chosen the easiest solution by accusing the hotel staff without any proof. Additionally, we must clarify that it is not true the manager refused to meet with you. I was absent on the day of your return, which is why I was unable to speak with you at that time. Best regards Ismail Elouazzani - General Manager
