Nice football related hotel

Very nice hotel if you are a football fan. The staff is friendly and breakfast was great. The room is quite basic. There is a tramstop nearby and Krimmeri-Meinau station is not far away. And of course the football stadium.

Having stayed several times with family at Ibis Styles Stade de la Meinau to visit another family member in the area, I can say that this hotel offers a consistently good experience. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Their assistance was especially appreciated when I became unwell during one of our stays; they provided support and care. The hotel is clean, rooms are reasonably sized and beds comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are in good condition. I always miss having a kettle/coffee maker in the room but there is one in the reception area. The main foyer/reception/breakfast and bar area is brightly decorated with a football theme, a nod to the Meinau stadium nearby. Breakfast is basic but good and all self service as you’d expect (yogurts, fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, eggs etc) . Again the staff here are attentive and helpful. The underground car park was useful (extra charge applies) and we left our car there for the whole stay as there’s a tram stop 5-10 minutes walk away, from where regular trams go to Strasbourg city centre, a 15 minute journey. Overall, this hotel provides a reliable, welcoming and comfortable stay.

Nice staff but the state of the property is really poor. It's time for Accor to renovate this hotel which is not at the level of other Ibis Styles, actually far from it. This property shall not categorise as Ibis Styles.

Great hotel, stayed in several hotels from Ibis chain, but this one was the best. Very clean, very comfortable bed, great service, private parking, and well priced. Oh and the best thing - breakfast. Not like on similar hotels in e.g. Germany, you get fresh croisants, and other bakery, trendy cheese, great coffee and etc. Strongly recommended.

Stayed here recently whilst on a tour, we arrived late at night room nice and clean and plenty of room to put things and a bath too which was lovely. We had a welcome bottle of water again this was much needed as arrived quite tired and late, on the return journey we did not get a bottle of water and it was a bit late to try and get one so we managed without until the morning. Comfy beds and good breakfast, thank you hope to call again,.
