Great option for a budget hotel

Very conveniently located on the back of the main railway station, half way between the main tourist attractions and the architectural highlight Zuremborg. Perfect room size. WC and showers are separated. Handheld showerhead. Very clean. Stable internet connection. Power supply socket at bed side. Amenities: shower gel, hand soap. No fridge. The window can only partially be opened but that is enough. Discount supermarket in the same building. TV: Flemish, English and Arabic language channel available. Very kind and professional staff.

Stayed for 1 night because of a Concert in the AFAS Dome. It’s a fine hotel for a quick stay, a last minute booking. Perfectly fine! 😌 Rooms were quite hot, so be aware of that

The reviews of this place had me worried but honestly it's perfect for what you need. Yes it doesn't have many amenities big you could bring your own travel kettle and fan. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and the shower is amazing. It is a budget hotel and for the location you are getting a great deal. It is within walking distance of many great areas and literally five minutes from the station. I don't know what people are complaining about. The staff have been amazing, answered all enquiries I had. Check in was simple and easy. I honestly would use this for hotel again.

Hot, noisey but cheap

Booked this hotel as it is near town centre and railway station. Arrived outside and nowhere to park, street packed with cars luckily we had done our homework so we went round the block and into the public underground car park - which has some Ibis signs in theer. Big and clean and well lit - lots of EV chargers here as well - about 25 euros a day so pretty good. Hotel is directly above and you come out into a square where there is lots of construction but we found our way to the hotel. Check in no problem and off to our room in a small lift. Rooms are basic but it is budget so thats what you expect, bed comfortable, shower functional. At night internal noise no real issue but it is the external noise that is the issue. 1st night various drunks singing at 3 and 4 in the morning followed by the building site next door starting around 7am with drills. 2nd morning builders started at 06.30 in a town centre location with houses next door. You need to keep the window open as the place is so hot and stuffy. The building site next door has just started its basement so i think they will be building the block for years yet. Breakfast is 10 Euros each and is good value all you can eat but limited selection. Location is close to town - you can access it through the main train station which is worth a look - tourist info in here as well for getting maps and local info. At night some areas round hotel and train station looked a bit rough but this is typical of urban areas round train stations. Easy 5/10 mins walk to restraurants on main area and 10 mins walk to the historic town so hotel a good location for this. I would not choose to stay here again - certainly not in the summer.

The location was perfect, and this is probably the only good reason to stay. The room is quite dusty and runs down. The temperature was hot and when I went down to report this to the receptionist. Nothing could be solved except I was handed an electric fan for better ventilation.
