I came to this hotel for a meeting. The room is in a Chinese style and overall it's quite good. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and introduced the swimming pool, but I didn't have time to go. What a pity! Next time, I must show my little flying fish's strength

I stayed at the Grand Mercure Xi’an for three nights in September and I had a great experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I want to give particular thanks to Mr Warren Wang who helped me on the door carrying my luggage and greeting me when I left and entered the building each day. I would stay again when I return to Xi’an.

Avoid - really cheap hotel

The hotel uses photoshopped images. The queen room is very small. The king rooms are better but they are incredibly dated. No pool or gym in the building, must cross to another hotel in the rain or snow to use. Breakfast is dismal. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They nickel and dime.

Lovely location, beautiful room, but hot AC!

Really lovely and pleasant stay. The area where all the hotels are is secluded, leafy and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with good vegetarian options, stations preparing to order, and a good mix of western and local food Location was great for visiting center and jey sites However standout feature was the beautiful room - huge, multi room, spacious, and attractive wooden furnishings. It had the largest bed we've ever slept in - when on the two edges of the bed, our arms stretched out, we didn't touch - absolutely massive, and lots of space should you need it. The only downside was the air-conditioning, which perhaps because the room was so large struggled to cool the room even when set permanently at the lowest temp (16°). This did mean on our last night we couldn't sleep all night (even resorting to wet towels on our feet to no avail!) However assuming that was a one off we wouldn't hesitate to recommend- lovely!

I spent two nights at the Grand Mercure Xi’an Renmin Square and found the experience quite comfortable with a touch of retro charm. The room was spacious, featuring both a shower and a bathtub and I appreciated the availability of European standard power outlets. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was not accessible in the room (on the fourth floor), which was a drawback for me. Breakfast offered a nice selection of traditional Chinese dishes alongside European continental options and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is located on the second floor of the Sofitel hotel next door, but it will be closed for renovations starting June 17th, 2025 - a much-needed update, as the facilities didn’t quite meet five-star standards. Be aware that a swim cap is required for pool use (not mentioned in advance), which can be purchased for a small fee, while the jacuzzi can be used without one. 我在西安人民大廈美居酒店住了兩晚，整體感覺舒適且帶有一點復古風格。房間非常寬敞，配有淋浴和浴缸，還有歐洲標準的插座，非常方便。可惜房間內無法連接Wi-Fi，這點有些不便。早餐同時提供了傳統中式菜餚和歐式早餐，選擇豐富，員工也很友善親切。游泳池位於隔壁索菲特酒店二樓，6月17日起將因翻新而關閉，確實需要升級，因為設施與五星級標準還有差距。需要注意的是，進入泳池必須戴泳帽（事先未被告知），可以現場購買，按摩池則無需泳帽即可使用。
