This Mercure is conveniently located right in the centre of Limoges with some rooms overlooking the square, not luxurious and with limited facilities but it’s clean, highly effective sound proofing, great value, friendly staff, really nothing to fault. Highly recommended

JetSet_Glamour Solo travel - Ulasan TripAdvisor tersertifikasi

Centrally located on main square with many shops and eateries surrounding. Be aware that majority of these outlets are closed on a Sunday. Hotel was old fashioned but in a charming way with shoe shine machines on each floor etc. Breakfast was brought to my room each morning and was a generous continental style. Room was comfortable with an ample table/chairs to take breakfast, fridge, kettle etc. Bathroom of a good size. A quiet and refined establishment representing good value for money.

Located on the central square in Limoges, this hotel was ideal for for just stepping out of the door and exploring the city. Excellent Brasserie right next door, but also so many excellent restaurants/bars within walking distance. We stayed in one of the more basic rooms at the back of the hotel, which was perfect for us. It was quiet and had an really good shower. We had a great view of Limoges in the direction of the rail station. The bed was comfy, staff friendly and helpful and delicious breakfast. The hotel is not modern, but is undergoing a refurbishment. The lifts are small, so I preferred to use the stairs.

We were passing through the area and stayed only one night. The hotel has a large presence in the Place de la République area, with many cafes, restaurants, small grocery store, etc nearby. Since we have a rental car, having nearby parking is super helpful. The garage is connected through a short walkway, with plenty of spaces. The hotel is secured in the way that you have to buzz to get in from below. Our room was on the higher floor. Elevator available. It was spacious and the bathroom is nice. Shower is on the smaller side. AC worked great. Overall, we appreciated the English speaking front desk staff. Our French is very poor. Note that parking is not included in the room rate. We walked to the cathedral, Hôtel-de-Ville, Boucherie District.

Stayed one night only with an upgraded room on the 5th floor. The room was large for Mercure standards and had a balcony giving on the square. The staff was pleasant and breakfast was sufficient. Parking is not free so plan for that. The only weird thing was the electric outlets which have some weird spring system. You really have to push the plug in hard. People using travel adapters may have problems.
