Lovely hotel with super staff, well located in the middle of the city. Room was spacious and we had good room rate. The Exec lounge was very nice. We especially want to highlight MAY the lady in the Exec lounge who helped us so much with a flight booking. And LEO the head concierge who helped arrange tourist sites. Really good hotel. Recommended.

Fairly standard large chain hotel well located in X'ian

The room and the bathroom were both enormous. There was a large kingsize bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was a standard buffet breakfast for China with lots of Chinese and western options. The staff at breakfast were a bit brusque. You had to order tea and coffee from them and they appeared as if it was a big effort for them and it took ages to come. It was in walking distance to the walls, the Muslim quarter and the Bell and Drum towers so was very convenient.

This hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing - with a huge selection of food from american/european style to oriental choices. The sushi restaurant was delicious. The staff was accommodating and I had an enjoyable stay.

From the moment we arrived this place was a pleasure. asked for Oat milk in tea at executive lounge one morning. took staff a few times to deliver but the point is they kept on trying and once they got something we wanted they said they would have ready for us on next visit. Asked Concierge abut places on famous Xian wall to view sites. got not only was this information offered but alternate places to view the NYE special parade where it was free to view from outside the wall. even shown on mini map closest metro stop and where to get out. always ready to help

Thanks to everyone at the Sofitel for making our stay so enjoyable. Lovely modern hotel just about close enough to walk to key attractions in Xi’an. Don’t worry if you do fancy walking as the metro is cheap and easy to use and cabs are very cheap too. Our room was lovely and breakfast terrific. There aren’t a huge number of places to eat locally but this really wasn’t a problem for us.
