The staff were absolutely delightful. We had exceptional service and kindness from Semeli (he really went out of his way to help us). We also had help with our dietary requirements from the Restaurant Manager, 'D' (everyone calls me D--it's easier!) And Lea and others on the team were so helpful with serving our food, and always with a smile. The chef was outstanding, and she rose to the challenge (my tired brain sadly can't remember her name!). However, she found workarounds for our wheat and dairy intolerances, and Veganism, while preparing really tasty food for breakfast and dinner, and sometimes also lunch. They were in the process of making their menu more robust for food intolerances, and they were eager to both help me, and ask for feedback about their future plans. They were reassuring and helpful, and we ate well with delicious food, and no one got sick! Hopefully, in the near future, they will be able to offer more intolerant friendly food options and they will get a more secure supply chain for intolerance-friendly staples so they can make more options. We also indulged in an amazing on-site massage...excellent massage and good prices, in a lovely, relaxing, clean atmosphere. The ladies were welcoming and caring, and we had a lovely experience. The location was good regarding access to all the siteseeing opportunities, and they have a dedicated on-site tour coordinator. However, we wanted to do some activities, but do them our way, and none of the tours quite fitted us. So Semely was able to organise a cost-friendly taxi tour option, which put us in complete control. This was perfect for us. All in all, this was a wonderful stay, made so by the lovely staff at the Mercure, and by the clean and pleasant hotel environment. We would highly recommend a stay here (we were here for 4 nights). Disliked · We had a bad experience coming back from the town in a 'crazy' taxi...not the hotel's fault, but worth a 'heads up' to future travellers...He passed himself off as a legitimate taxi, but when we got in, there were no seatbelts in the back, and he was yelling at everyone, and generally terrified us (& I'm not easily scared). Next time, I would either ring the Mercure as book one to collect us when werw done, or ask one of the lovely locals at the doors to most large shops to help us find a safe one. Regarding the hotel, there was nothing we didn't like, but it will be even better when they have their new intolerance-friendly menu and educated staff (although D definitely knew his stuff!). It would be great if there were shade cloths over the pool, as we weren't able to use it during the hottest parts of the day as the UV was extreme. Also, it would be great if there was a way to lock and unlock the sliding back-doors from the outside on the ground floor rooms, so we didn't have to walk all the way around to get to the pool if no one was left in the room. This is not a long walk, but it would capitalise on the ease of being on the ground floor near the pool. Overall this was a fabulous place to stay, with the hotel staff being amazing, and the environment being clean, relaxed, safe and lovely.

Si je pouvais, je mettrai zéro car c’est littéralement le pire hôtel de ma vie! Je n’ai passé qu’une nuit heureusement mais j’ai littéralement perdu 159€!!! En effet, déjà le prix est délirant pour un hôtel du minable aux Fidji! Mais le comble: présence de punaises de lit!!!! Je m’en suis rendu compte à 2h du matin et donc j’ai dû changer de chambre en pleine nuit La nouvelle chambre en avait aussi! J’ai du changer plusieurs fois jusqu’à trouver une chambre décente! J’ai tué celles que j’ai pu dans un mouchoir pour les garder comme preuve pour mon signalement le lendemain matin au manager de l’hôtel. J’ai également pris des photos! Et le lendemain matin, quand je montre les photos à l’horrible réceptionniste, ce dernier ose me dire que ce ne sont pas les draps des chambres de son hôtel, et que je mens!!!! Pour ne pas m’indemniser! J’étais tellement choquée. Je lui ai montré la date de prise de la photo pour lui prouver que c’était bien cette nuit, et j’ai sorti le mouchoir avec les punaises écrasées (cf photo ci-dessous). IL A OSÉ NIER de nouveau, même devant l’évidence. Sa manager a pris son parti. Elles m’ont tous les deux TRAITÉ de MENTEUSE. Est-ce que vous réalisez à quel point c’est honteux! J’ai fait un signalement de cet hôtel à Booking pour dénoncer son personnel d’une mauvaise foi crasse et qui ose INSULTER ses clients! Le personnel d’un hotel de cette catégorie (4 étoiles) aurait dû non seulement s’excuser pour les punaises de lit car c’est admissible, mais surtout aurait dû proposer de lui-même une indemnisation à ces clients victimes !! Au lieu de ça, je suis tombée sur un réceptionniste et une manager abjectes, à vomir! Ils devraient être licenciés sur le champ pour la façon dont ils ont traité leur client (moi). UNE HONTE! À fuir comme la peste! À signaler!

goed hotel. Kamer is ruim en netjes. Geen lift aanwezig. Echec twee verdiepingen dat je naar boven hoeft te lopen. Moesten wel regelmatig om een handdoek vragen omdat het er nog niet lag. Er is een handdoek service bij het zwembad echter was voor die 4 dagen dat we er waren onvoldoende handdoeken aanwezig. Ontbijtbuffet was voldoende. Het zwembad werd elke ochtend gereinigd. Massagemogelijkheid aanwezig. Bus richting centrum is vlakbij het hotel

De pendeldienst van en naar het vliegveld is goed geregeld. Het hotel ligt per auto plm. 20 minuten van het vliegveld. Het inchecken duurt lang. Als voorzorgsmaatregel worden uw creditcardgegevens gevraagd. De balie service is erg afhankelijk van wie de balie bemant. Is niet consequent klantgericht. Kan zeker beter. De kamer is zeer ruim, de kwaliteit van het bed uitstekend, het sanitair goed en zeer schoon. Het eten is gewoon, niets bijzonders. De binnentuin met zwembad is mooi. Conclusie: Een goed hotel om tussen twee vluchten in te verblijven.
