We selected this hotel for it's central location and secure car park and it didn't let us down. It sits on a site with a Mercure Hotel which has advantages and disadvantages. The car park is huge, don't feel the need to grab the first place you see, it really does carry on forever. The car park lift will then deposit you in the Mercure where you check in. You will need to remember that lift as if you forget and try to get back to the car park in one of the other Mercure lifts you will find yourself in their conference suites! Breakfast and dinner are served in the Mercure and are excellent. We found all the staff very friendly and as we were there on one of the nights that England were playing in the Euros we were able to enjoy the match on a large screen that had been set up. Whilst having access to all the Mercure facilities was wonderful it does leave the Ibis somewhat lacking. The reception area resembles a storage area. The rooms however are comfortable, the bathroom in our room looked like a pod that had been created elsewhere and dropped into the room but whilst small it was functional. The air conditioning worked well and we had two very comfortable nights.

The most complicated set up ever!!! This is 2 hotels trying to be one, it doesn't work. Some of the lifts go to one side of the hotel and some of the lifts go to the other side of the hotel all with the same room numbers, so you think you can get to your room from all lifts but you can't. The car park lift is just as confusing!! The receptionists were very helpful and checked us in very professionally. However the bar staff and restaurant staff were so rude!! I picked up menus whilst we were sat in the bar area passed then around to our party (4 people in total) so we could decide in advance of sitting down. The waiter came over to me took the menus from us and said we couldn't just help ourselves and his attitude was just so rude! There were no pumps working for the beer so we had to have bottle beer at a much more expensive cost! There were no refreshments at all in the room, no safe, the shower wouldn't stay in position so had to be taken off and used by hand. Drinks were expensive. The pavements are very uneven outside the hotel, my friend tripped and broke her wrist. We walked into Rouen (took about 15 mins). We walked past cafes with groups of men sat outside staring a we walked past it was very unnerving. We had a very quick look around Rouen and the cathedral brute making our way back as we didn't feel comfortable and certainly didn't want to be out after dark. It's a very dirty city and not one I would visit again and I certainly wouldn't return to this hotel!!

Rouen is a fantastic atmospheric and beautiful city. Hotel is practically located and reasonably priced.

Very helpful staff and service, great location for walking access to historic centre of Rouen, bars and restaurants etc. Free electric car charging in the car park (deposit required) and sustainability built in to many aspects of the hotel, soaps, towels, refillable tea bags etc.

This Hotel is suffering from Accor trying to combine the two group brands Ibis & Mercure, they share a reception desk and most of the facilities such as bar & restaurant. But it gets very confusing when you try to use a lift, if you use the old Ibis lift press 1 you go from the ground floor up to floor 1, OK . If this lift is not working (which was frequent) you use another lift near reception on the ground floor and press 4 to get to exactly the same place on floor 1. You use yet another separate lift to get to the Car Park. The breakfast was very poor with little choice of anything.

Lovley big rooms, clean with good air con. We used this hotel whilst travelling on motorbikes as it has secure parking. You will be charged for it, at 60 cents an hour even for hotel guests. Worth it for peace of mind while staying in the city center. Nice hotel, breakfast was average if I'm honest, the hot food wasn't hot, but the choice of food was decent. The staff were helpful when needed but not exactly friendly
