I did not enjoy my stay at Ibis Rotorua. I arrived quite late in the afternoon and was told my room wasn't ready yet. The rooms are quite outdated and could do with some upgrades. Soundproofing of the rooms is not up to standard. I should not be able to hear somebody doing a number 1 on the toilet next door. I found the breakfast to be average for the price you're paying. The cooked breakfast was disappointing and the continental breakfast wasn't far behind. The coffee was okay. This hotel is not up to Ibis' normal standards. I was expecting more for the price I paid.

Came to check in, there was a line of 11 people in front of me. Only one person checking guests in, taking a very long 5 - 10 minutes per guest. I had another meeting to attend so left and came back 3 hours later to check in. I arrived for breakfast at 5.50am, all the food was out and ready. I was initially told breakfast started at 6.00am. After a brief discussion was permitted to go in. I put some bacon and eggs on my plate and sat to eat. I was first in and the food was cold, the bacon unchewable. I left the plate full on the table and checked out. I trust the above feedback will assist you in improving the service you provide.
