The location was perfect for us as I was in Rotorua for the Run the Forest event. The park pick-up point was only about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which made the morning of the run so easy and convenient. It was also great being so close to Eat Streat, with plenty of places nearby to grab something to eat. The bed was super comfy and spacious, and the air conditioning kept the room at the perfect temperature. After the run, it was definitely nice to come back to a comfortable room and relax!

The room is nice with comfortable bed and plenty of charging ports and space to put things. Only issue is the right side of the bed has no power point for my CPAP machine so I had to sleep on the other side of the bed which kind of disrupted our sleep a bit. It’s a well located hotel with ample parking for those exploring the area with a car as most do. Very close to the main town area with restaurants and bars to keep you entertained in the evenings. Close to the lakeside area if you want to go on a cruise or enjoy the scenery. It is also close the fabulous Kuirau Park with plenty of hot springs to explore. The Novotel bar next door is a great spot to utilise your welcome drink for those of us on upper tiers or have Explorer discounts. Really great value overall.
