Germaphobes worst nightmare

The hotel is very unclean, they’re also extremely stingy and don’t provide slippers, no fridge, no coffee sachets, zero. When we came in my pillow had stains on it, the shower clearly hadn’t had a deep clean in a while, the walls have marking all over them, the water when you shower turns from hot to cold sometimes. The shower head has limescale and hard water build up suggesting this entire room is being surface cleaned only, not deep cleaned which is absolutely horrible. The walk to the train station is dodgy as there’s no stable foot path for a bit of the walk. I don’t know how this place has 4 stars, if i could rate it a negative 0 i would.

We wasnt informed on check in which floor or where to go to get to our room. The restaurant was closed the whole time we was here for the evening meal and we wasn't informed when we arrived so on out first night here we had to go out and find somewhere to eat. On the second night there was someone arguing and slamming doors in the room opposite ours and kept us awake all night. On the second night here we knew to eat before returning to the hotel. We arrived on the Saturday and left on the Tuesday. We was informed the restaurant would be open on Monday night but when we came back after a day sightseeing we was informed the restaurant would be shut again for a group booking. Apart from breakfast we didn't actually eat at the hotel which would have been nice. The bed was comfortable and the staff especially the cleaning staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

Our restaurant is always closed during weekends, as showed on all the online booking platforms. The restaurant opening period is monday to friday. Unfortunately, due to a staff emergency the restaurant has been closed on monday during your stay, but we still granted the possibility to eat at the hotel with a reduced menu. All our guests have been informed of the extra-ordinary closure with a communication displayed in common areas and on the elevators. We hope that you can choose our hotel again in the future and that we can regain your confidence if we have the chance to host you again.

Our group tour is staying at a number of Ibis hotels as we travel through Europe, and the Ibis chain has been tidy and kind throughout our journey. At this hotel, the staff was very helpful. We arrived with a large group, and almost everyone chose to eat dinner at the hotel. The staff was great in terms of helping us all! We thank them for the reliable service. Cons: Breakfast is just OK. The location is not very convenient for walking or ambiance, but this was just an evening stop for us, so it served its purpose.

Perfect hotel! Really clean, spacious rooms, nice and helpful people, with everything you need. Good location, with grocery store nearby, I would recommend and will come back for sure. Comfortable bed and nice rooms. Perfect for everyone!

Lovely stay. My daughter and I spent 3 nights here and we both agree how pleasant and helpful staff were. The breakfast had lots of choice and goud quality. Our room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking for hire car and choice of reasonably priced restaurants close by.
