A bad experience for a very loyal customer to ALL hotels … until now

Having been a guest at Accor hotels for ages , I’m very much disappointed by my first hours at Novotel city Barcelona. As a Platinum member at ALL , Not a special welcome at check in, no information given on a possible upgrade and since the room looks exactly like the standard room booked , the executive room was nothing on top if it’s one ! Welcome drinks did not show in my ALL app so had to request them at front desk … I called front desk to know if my booking showed my Platinum status in any way and was told she would refer to a supervisor and never called back ! And after just a couple hours in the property I went to use my drinks coupons and was denied access to Cocktails and was told it was only wines, beers or soft drinks ! Was at novotel in Toronto, CA and Montreal 2 weeks ago and it was a totally different story . Nice and warm welcome at check in , chocolates in the junior suite and cocktails at the bar ! Why such a difference in amenities and frequent guest favors for the same brand at ALL ? 30 different brands , all with different atmospheres and feeling but why such a difference in Frequent guest advantages even in the same brand ? Extremely disappointed , I’m in the process of booking another HILTON hotel (I’m Hilton gold as well) …. for my second night and ALL NOVOTEL is certainly and by far not the only hotel in the vicinity

Excellent hotel in Barcelona! Not far from FC Barcelona stadium. Really nice upscale area. We loved it very nice breakfast too! Verrrrrrry goooooooooooooood! Enjoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooy!

Metroya 3 dk yürüme mesafesinde, sagrada familia ya 15 dk yürüme mesafesindedir. Odalar konforlu ve çalışanlar yardımseverdir. Tekrar gidersem kalabilirim. İspanya geneli düşünürsek fiyat normal olabilir ama avrupa geneli pahalı.

We arrived very early in the morning but Maria managed to get us into a room straight away and also a later than usual checkout the next day. It was our first time in Barcelona and Maria got us off to a great start!! We had a nice meal in the restaurant and the waiter was very friendly too.

Worn down and Arrogant Management

Stayed at the suite for 6 nights and the upkeep was horrible, housekeeping was way below par and no one had a clue on things. Had to ask for water daily, curtain and curtain rods would fall of and was such a health and safety hazard, water taps are so tight that you will bruise urself while opening a tap. To top this management is ignorant despite being informed and arrogant to make good. Stay in any other place but this..!! However Ivan at the front desk seemed to be the only sensible guy who tried to pacify the flaws. Rest of the people were beyond doubt full of themselves.
