The Best Resort in Bali

Upon arrival we were greeted with such warmth and consideration. When we weren't happy with our room location, we were respected and relocated immediately to the perfect room for our needs. Our trip became eventful due to a sudden illness causing us to miss our flights back home. The disruption to our travel plans became very stressful as our travel agent abandoned us leaving us stranded and unable to communicate via phone making it virtually impossible to resolve the situation via the agents preferred method. During this time, the staff at the resort were so very helpful, offering support every step of the way. We are very grateful indeed to have been staying at Mercure Resort as I am not so sure the same level of service would have been offered elsewhere. We utilised the laundry service which was very efficient with everything returned being well laundered and smelling fresh. The atmosphere throughout the resort was alive, vibrant, friendly and most accommodating. Moreno, the restaurant manager was most hospitable and virtually nothing was too much trouble. All food and beverage was spot on, with much variety accommodating for all dietary needs. The facilities were very clean, well maintained and nurtured and everyone seemed genuinely happy. Additionally, we were offered a late check out at no extra charge as the staff were genuinely concerned about our health and welfare during our stay and ensured our comfort until our departure. I highly recommend a stay at this resort and I would revisit Mercure Resort Sanur again in a heartbeat. I really couldn't pick a fault and I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of staying there.

A great place to stay especially if you are en route to the airport..

This my last night before returning back to the UK. The hotel is only about 25 mins from the airport as long as the traffic is ok so it was a perfect last evening, I wished I had a bit more time here to be honest. The hotel is on the beachfront with a great bar on the beach too.. with plenty of sunbeds it was so nice to watch that sun disappear here.. the staff were lovely, a special mention to Hendra who showed me around the grounds on the way to my room, thankyou Hendra, most helpful. I ate dinner here which was so good then breakfast had so much choice! The sunset is beautiful here, worth getting up early for!! The room was a really good size and yes it is a little dated but more than comfortable with hairdryer, tea coffee, kettle and milk on request ! Thankyou

Reasonable beachside resort at the western end of Sanur Beach

Mercure has a fairly large resort at the western end of Sanur Beach. We recently stayed at this hotel property and were well received upon arrival. Allowed to check in a couple hours early, we found the lobby area spacious and check-in staff very friendly. The property grounds include a couple of small local temples, two swimming pools and restaurants along with a beach bar where you can enjoy beachfront drinks and food orders. Our rooms were all just fine, spacious, comfy beds, TV, safe, good A/C and wifi that worked perfectly. Rooms included sitting chair, some desk space, balcony facing the inner grounds of the property and spacious bathrooms stocked with toiletries and good shower water pressure. All in all, Mercure is a good mid-range property at Sanur if seeking comfortable and affordable hotel options right on the beach. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops nearby and directly on the beach. The property is roughly 20 minute ride from the airport when traffic is cooperative as well, making it a good place to stay during your last night in Bali if you have a morning flight to catch.
