Lovely hotel, great place to stay in town, always clean and comfortable and has friendly staff - extra thanks to Marissa and Toni for making our stay so easy and comfortable. Great for us as a family, and we enjoy the pool and sauna. Good value.

Workers smoking and shouting outside hotel windows from 5am onwards

I accompanied my wife here on a business trip and we were given a room towards the back of the hotel. All was fine, but then every single morning we were woken up by a member of staff shouting outside our window. I complained to the receptionist about this but he didn't seem to care. I am not kidding, each morning at around 5am - 6am we were consistently woken up by the loud shrilling of a woman working there, who was either smoking out the back with other members of staff, or taking personal calls. Absolutely no regards for guests, despite the fact she must have known this was under the windows (and even with them closed, she was so loud you could still hear her). My poor wife didn't get enough sleep for her meetings and as a result we won't be staying here again, and have requested her company remove this hotel from their booking options.

No air con

Fine hotel and what you'd expect except one thing - the hotel has no air con so on a warm summer night the rooms are so hot. Reception offer fans but didn't find out until the next morning after a bad night's sleep. I get the attempt at being environmentally friendly but a good night's sleep is the basic from a hotel but that's hard when it's hot!
