Stayed here 07/10 - 08/11 2025 The hotel is perfect as an overnight hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel is of an older model, but clean and fresh. Nice and helpful staff at the reception. 3 minutes' walk to the hospital. Pros: Quick check-in/check-out. Customer-centric at the reception. Clean and fresh space. Clean room. Pool, fenced. Local transport right outside the door. Quiet rooms. Good food in the restaurant. 20 minutes from Normandy. Free parking. 6 bed hardness (see below*). 5 value for money (see below**) Cons: Rooms with a slightly older standard. Major roads around the hotel. *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress 10) **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10).

Clean and convenient hotel for a stop for touring Normandy

Have stayed at this hotel every time we’re in Caen for over 30 years, it is clean, well positioned to visit landing beaches and the town has great restaurants. The rooms were stocked with good toileteries and breakfast was great, especially as one of us was gf and lactose intolerant. Great stop when touring Normandy🇫🇷

Not as good as it used to be

This has declined in quality since our previous visits. The breakfast has less choice, the quality is poorer (apart from the bread). Miserable staff in the breakfast area, who don't actually greet you anyway. And cups made from bamboo for the fruit juices, rather than glass! The most annoying thing is that the plugs in the sink are designed not to seal (reception told me) so that you can't for example have a wet shave, and water is wasted through running away. Another great example of design over practicality. On the plus side it is easy to get into the city centre from the nearby tram stop.

I did not experience much of this hotel. The room and breakfast was about it. The room and staff was nice and the breakfast had great selections. There was free internet, clean rooms, great staff, and many other accommodations. You won't be disappointed to book and room and enjoy your vacation. Add this to the places to stay while in France.

good stay

Stayed for just couple of hrs. the reception staff was welcoming at 2 am, the room are good and clean. the beds are big and comfortable. the restaurant had good spread of items for breakfast. the quick check out facility was also good. over all good stay.
